I don't think he will be intimidated on cross.
He is a credible, relatable witness.

If JS goes after him hard on cross, it won't play well with the jury IMO.

PG is describing Jefferson Crossing, ends in a cul de sac. PG is returning to 4JC with seats in the back of the Jeep.

JS is objecting and arguing with the Judge.

Sheesh

Convergence....

PG describes cop cars and individuals standing around. PG drove by ... slowly.... didn't stop... didn't want to bother anybody.

Turned around, driving back slowly... police came into the road, signaled him to stop.

“Esteemed Defence Counsel” has today been stripped of any shred of integrity or professionalism imo based on his behaviour regarding withholding case evidence.

PG stopped, told Sgt Beautin he was coming from NC. Where he had been earlier in the day.

Exited the car, no drugs or weapons, gave permission to search.

Describes his heart beating. The argument with FD, wrestling with the seats and the heavy doors.

Sgt asked about the seats. Told them he was going to put them in his truck. Did not tell them it was at FD's request. They didn't ask. He didn't volunteer.

He was asked to call FD.

FD answered. Told FD the police were there and wanted to talk to him. FD said he was at the pond water-skiing. 5pm.

Handed hid phone to LE to talk to FD.

Someone asked him to go the pond. Self storage area -- with a lake behind. Was asked to pick up MT, her daughter and mother in the Jeep. Brought them to 4 JC.

Later brought the defendant's mother and daughter to a hotel.

After bringing the defendant's mother and daughter to the hotel, he went home.

The Tacoma was at his house.

He changed the seats.

Unbolted the Ford seats.

The Cayenne seats didn't line up with the Tacoma holes. Removed the rails from the Ford seat to transfer onto the Cayenne seat. Took the cover off the driver seat.

Put the Cayenne seats into the Tacoma. Couldn't bolt them.

Put the Ford seats in his garage. He decided he wanted to keep them in case the police asked about them.

He still couldn't believe FD would do something to Jennifer.

I hope PG has vodka in that bottle.
He could use some by now.
MOO.

I'm listening to their love letters about how great a mother MT is, but all I can hear is what she said about Jennifer. MT is wicked.

JMO
I just cannot imagine spewing such vitriol about anyone, let alone the mother of five children I supposedly care about.

Two detectives arrived at his house.

Saw on the news that FD and the defendant had been arrested.

Detective asked where he was on the 24th. Gave consent to search his phone.

Called his lawyer. Lawyer said he didn't need to give it without a warrant. PG said he had nothing to hide. Gave over his phone and they downloaded it.

LE asked him about deleted items.

Objection/overruled

Do you know what the deleted items were?

Searches about the disappearance of JFd.

Objection, sustained

PG regularly clears his search history

Did not tell the detectives about the seats without his lawyer. Was afraid because of his green card. Asked LE to set up a meeting with him and his attorney.

LE asked about the Tacoma license plate.

Left. Returned.

Why did they come back?

Objection

Did they come back to take the Jeep?

Objection, hearsay. Overruled.

Why did you still have the Jeep? Took it on Friday and still had it.

LE towed it.

LE returned a third time.

LE asked if he could show them places where you can access the trails.

Was going to take his wife's vehicle. But took the truck.

Hadn't told LE about the seats, they didn't ask.

Was handed a search warrant to take the Tacoma. Told them about the seats and that the other seats were in the garage.

They drove back to his house, showed LE the seats. Didn't want to hide anything. Seat cover was still off.

Why does JS have to talk so rudely? So over it!

OMG, JS is delusional

JS wants a schedule from the State.
Atty Manning is pushing tomorrow's witnesses back.
Judge: Court gave March 1 as an overestimate.
JS has witnesses coming from out of State. Wants a timeline from the State.

Atty McGuinness says he has received two C. V. from the defense for experts. The State will file motions for discovery.

JS says he has followed the practice book to a T. He says their C.V. are 50 pages and speak to their expertise.

JS doesn't know if his new witnesses are on his own list.

State says they'll file for a quarter hearing if need be.

1 hour 15 minutes on direct with PG. Judge expects the cross the rest of the day.

JS says the delays are not his. He'd been very brief....

JS says he has four days of witnesses.

Judge says it's up to counsel to deternine (if I understood him correctly).

Adjourned

Why does JS have to talk so rudely? So over it!
It’s imo also disrespectful to all parties and the judicial process. Not sure why Judge is allowing it.

JS said he has “at least” four full days of testimony on defense case.

He has 2 expert witnesses coming in that he only gave prosecution their CVs and no reports.
