Doctor has no idea what could have caused a large, red graze-like injury across Baden-Clay's chest. #badenclay

John Taylor @_JohnTaylor_

He says not a fatal toxic level but can't rule it out. #badenclay

Also doesn't mean SHE took it willingly!

Intersting that there is a discrepancy in expert witnesses about whether the scratches would have bled or not? Yesterday I remember one expert witness commented that they probably wouldn't have bled (because I remember comparing them to a cat scratch that doesn't bleed).

Could it be that fingernail scratches dont bleed but the razors cuts do? :waitasec:
I dont know just thinking out a loud

Gerard Baden-Clay is again sitting in a corner of the dock where he is not visible to most of the gallery. #badenclay

A third day of Performance Issues......

He must be just squirming in his seat.

#badenclay committal hears it would be "exceptional" if the level of anti-depressants in Allison's system was deadly. @9NewsBrisbane

Poor old GBC must be sitting thinking, how in Gods name did I get here?

I could be out with the ladies, but no, I am the lady boy now.

Expert says everything found in Allison #badenclay samples would be explicable to a normal therapeutic quantity.

Could a jagged unshaped nail cause these injuries?

Doctor just told us it would be "exceptional" if Allison had died of overdose. Levels too low, he said. #badenclay

Hi All,

Long time reader of this forum. Great work. I have a computer forensics background.

Finally joined to hopefully add something that doesn't seem to have been picked up on by either side.

When the iphone's logs indicate that it was connected to power at 01:48 in the morning - this doesn't necessarily mean it was connected to mains power via a charger in the wall. It just indicates it was connected to a power source. This power source could just have easily been a 12V charger in a car.....

Either way discredits that he was asleep.

It's a shame that the Telco's haven't provided cell tell location tracking information on the night. It's been used in many cases in the USA to infer locations of defendants and cast doubt on statements..

Hi CaptB, and welcome.

Yes, the charging could have been from any power source, including his car - or even his computer. Or anyone's computer anywhere.... Food for thought there.

And while I don't want to presume to know as much as you would re the tech aspects etc, just a comment on the location tracking - the iPhone is very accurate in locating ITSELF (eg Google or Apple Maps or a zillion other apps) but location of the phone from elsewhere is much less accurate, including the cell tower links. In fact, when the iPhone is turned on, or an app started that needs location services, it seems that the iPhone starts by logging multiple towers in the vicinity from an almanac database, depending on where it is, much like any other GPS satnav device does for the satellites that should be "visible".

And of course, while the telcos can determine WHICH tower it connects to, they can't tell whereabouts in that area of coverage the phone actually is unless the phone is broadcasting its own location. Which is how those apps work such as the "Find My Friends" app or the "Find My iPhone" app. That is the phone broadcasting its own location, which is quite accurate. So if GBC's phone didn't have any of those apps running, then the telcos wouldn't be able to track him apart from which tower he connected to.

I can't talk about the full tech reports on the phones, but suffice to say that the prosecution have a lot more info up their sleeve which has not been questioned by the defence - yet ;)

So your assumption that one side or the other haven't got onto the matter of location may be a bit premature...

And again - welcome to a fellow tech-head! :rocker:

Also had that thought.

I have an image in my mind of what happened that night. I can't get rid of it, I can't shake the feeling that's how it happened! The chipped tooth, the Zoloft, the bruises to her rib, the scratches on his face.

#BadenClay: Medical expert says it would have been "exceptional" for the level of Zoloft in Allison's blood to be fatal.

This should put the suicide angle to bed surely!!! With little determinable injuries.....

Just logged on and caught up. Re the scratches, it doesn't matter that medical opinion cannot say with absolute certainty what caused the scratches, just that all the medical opinions are that it is extremely implausible that they were not caused by a razor as GBC claims. This is very strong evidence that he has told a lie. Then the question is why did he lie? If committed to trial that will be examined by the jury.

Yay! That's what Dr. Milne said on Monday too.
