That goes without saying.Dollars to doughnuts that he violates the terms before the weekend is out.
He won't be able to help himself. I bet he's itching to hit back.

One can only hope! One would think that it is pretty clear that Trump "engaged" in an insurrection-- note: it does not say "incited" an insurrection, but "engaged": there has to be a way to keep some one that "engages" in an insurrection from running for the office of the presidency.

Looks like someone may have gotten a target letter today... IMO...
He also posted vile things about the Fulton Cty DA this morning on his social media account.Looks like someone may have gotten a target letter today... IMO...

New details: Fulton grand jury to hear Georgia Trump case early next week

He asked someone to commit a crime on his behalf - in order to subvert an election and deny voters to have their votes properly counted. Just because the other party didn't cooperate does not make it less of a crime. Example: I ask someone to kill on my behalf. They don't do it but notify the police instead. I have still committed conspiracy to commit murder. The DA has made no secret of her investigation which she initiated almost immediately after taking office in 2021.
I continue to be baffled at what Trump did wrong. He made a phone call to Raffensberger, but Raffensberger didn't act on his request to "find" more votes.

" I need you to find 11,780 votes." That's a command not a question.Trump didn't ask anyone to commit a crime on his behalf nor did they.
Trump's call to Raffensperger--a Republican--was questioning the validity of the election in Fulton County because rumors were rampant on social media that a water pipe in the arena had burst, election observers were told to leave but ballots continued to be counted. Raffensperger told Trump he was wrong.

It was a request. Trump had no authority to "command" Raffensperger to do anything at all and he didn't. Making a request isn't a crime." I need you to find 11,780 votes." That's a command not a question.
He's not charged yet. We'll be able to read the indictment, should one be issued. jmopinionIt was a request. Trump had no authority to "command" Raffensperger to do anything at all and he didn't. Making a request isn't a crime.
