I just found out about this so if this article has been posted already, sorry.

Bradley's attorney, Eugene Maurer, said he would seek to move the trial out of Sussex County. But he said the "real battleground" in the case will be Bradley's mental state, not what is seen on videotapes seized from Bradley's home and office or alleged in the indictment.

Announcing the grand jury's indictment, Attorney General Beau Biden said all of the alleged victims, mainly girls but including one boy, were caught on more than 13 hours of video recordings, some dating to 1998.

"The charges in this indictment are unique in the history of the state of Delaware, as far as I can tell," he said.

The charges against Bradley include rape, sexual exploitation of a child, unlawful sexual contact, continuous sexual abuse of a child, assault and reckless endangering.

Bradley, who was arrested in December and initially charged with 29 felony counts for allegedly abusing nine children, is being held with bail set at $2.9 million. His medical license was permanently revoked by the state Board of Medical Practice last week.

Dear God, they aren't really gonna try the insanity defense for this jackass are they? :furious:

This man is disgusting !!! He is alot safer behind bars because I am sure there are alot of parents that would like to take him out !!!
I would, I would beat him until he did not get up ! I'm sorry I know violence is not the answer but if there was anyone in this world that deserved it it would be this man.

Was he married ? I have seen no mention of a wife ... I just can not believe this, and we will have to feed and house this man for the rest of his life WHY ???? He should be snuffed out... moo

kbl...I'm telling you, Chardonnay.....the key to taking a little edge off. Not to be an enabler over here or anything.

Mysticrose--I did massive research looking for the wife. IIRC, they divorced in 1998. The children (four of them) seemed to have grown up in that house however. The kids are now all in their 20's if I'm not mistaken. I worry greatly about them. Several have gone on to garner awards and degrees in the field of science. They must be smart kids. Can you even imagine the pain?

Bradley also had a niece (she has since died and her sister runs it) who ran a non-profit group which provided funerals for still-born and other infants who passed. I believe Bradley was on her board. I have to tell you that just thinking of Bradley having access to infants who have passed makes me physically sick. I'll do some checking and post later as to where this info is on the thread.

And remember, there's the issue of Uncle Bradley. He too was a pedophile. Nasty nasty stuff.

The office closed up early today because of the snow (yes - big globby snow "flakes" - looked more like cotton balls) so I've been watching news off & on today.

HLN has finally gotten word on the evil monster-doctor....JVM's yelling about him -- she may be discussing the case tonite....Mike Galanos of Prime News said he didn't know whether to be mad or cry for the little kids....I expect him to be talking about the pedo-pedi-doc during his show, too.

Lots of tweets today about the monster's indictment...I hope this opens the eyes of many so that they start to ask questions, and are willing to listen up when people talk about abuse of children - sexual or otherwise -- and to trust their instincts if a situation doesn't seem right, or seems too good to be true!

Hopefully some children can be saved because of the exposure of these horrific crimes.

Oh, Texas Mist--People will start accusing you of seeing the "silver lining in all evil" just like Missizzy.

You are so right, though, the abuse is a done deal. No child was most likely damaged further because the idiotic doctor filmed it. (Unless, of course, we learn of trading--oh, I hope not). The fact that he did is pure unadulterated proof that kindly but goofy professionals with lots of letters after their name can and do pull off wicked actions for decades. Please, let's pray that eyes are opened...WIDE.

kbl--I'm continuously gob-smacked by the cases we know about which others have no clue about--even people you'd think would know. Our local DA had never heard about this case or the Mohler case.

Maybe, the prosecutors and LE really do "leave it at the office". Personally, I want to be informed.

Not that it really matters, but isn't this unprecedented? My Lord, think of the work that the attorneys and investigators went through to detail 400 separate charges. That's a massive amount of interviewing, record searching, forensics exams, etc. Everyone involved must be exhausted and the work has just begun.

It's just mind boggling.

Concerning Dr. Bradley's family (other than his sister, who worked for him), check out page 13 of this thread. There's mention of the wife and several other relatives. There's a number of links and clues to where she might be. I don't need to know where she is but I'd sure like to know why she jumped ship and if she took the kids with her. There was mention a few pages back that Bradley's kids even worked in the medical office for their Dad. Most of these tidbits were gleaned from the comments section of the Delaware newspapers.

There's also the curious issue of another Bradley in the town of Lewes. This man has assisted with a scholarly paper concerning newborn health. The link to the paper is here:

http://www.healthynewborns.org/file...Maternal_and_Neonatal_Tetanus_Elimination.pdf

You'll notice that there's a biography for this man on page 6. He has quite a CV and lived just down the road from the doctor. Could it be a brother? I've never seen any mention of Bradley's childhood other than the fact that he had a pedophile for an uncle.

FWIW, if you were this guy's former wife, wouldn't you be rounding up the kids and protecting them and yourself from the media blitz?

I worry that he's got a grandchild or two.

Most of the comments about a wife have been removed from the different news sources. I did find this at this link:

http://dennisforney.wordpress.com/2009/12/21/the-inscrutable-monstrous-dr-bradley/

"This is beyond horiffic….my thoughts go to his own children. His wife left him when they were young, he raised his four children himself. Did their mother know anything? I hope and pray they weren’t victims also. This must be so difficult for them......."
posted by Jeani 12/28/09

and a response

"The divorce was in 1998, meaning he was 45 at the time and his children were in college by then."

Believe--And here we parents sit and ponder whether or not or when to vaccinate. Isn't it just horribly sad?

On a happier note, I have to report something I heard today. My daughter-in-law took our 6 year old grandson into his pediatrician yesterday. He needed to have his tonsils checked. His doctor, a woman in her 40s, looked straight at our little guy and told him, "M if I ever do anything that makes you unhappy or uncomfortable or icky can you give me your word that you will tell your Mom and Dad and one of the nurses so we figure out what went wrong. I want you to feel safe with me but you're the boss of your own body."

I about cried with gratitude when I heard that. Just imagine being a pediatrician tonight. Your whole world would have turned upside down because of a group of monsters.

Scroll down to February 10th and the picture of the house in the snow. Read the narrative above the photo. This is the blog of the Cape Gazette's publisher, Dennis Forney. The state's on the case...at night...in the middle of a snowstorm. I imagine they gave that coffee pot a work out.

Victims Will Not Testify in Bradley Case

Reported by Jeremy Tucker

Updated: Feb 23, 2010 10:29 PM

DOVER, Del.- The Delaware Attorney General's Office says children involved in the Earl Bradley case will not have to testify. The office has 13 hours of video evidence which will be used against Bradley.

Attorney General Beau Biden has said his office still expects to file more charges and identify more victims. Many of the investigators working the case have been working around the clock to make sure they have as much evidence as possible.

According to Deputy Attorney General Alexis Slutsky, "There has been a non-stop investigation in this case. Literally, some of the officers have been working around the clock to review evidence."

The Attorney General's Office would not say how many other victims they may identify in the case.

Beau Biden's office is also still investigating whether complaints against Bradley in 2005 were handled improperly.

I know that children are not supposed to be asked leading questions. I get that. But have we ever considered how many questions school aged kids are asked all the time and their answers are trusted to be true?

Are you right or left handed? Both?

Have you ever had chicken pox? Do you know what year?

What is your address? How about your phone number?

Do you have any siblings? How many? Brothers or sisters?

Have you ever broken any bones? Which bone? When?

Do you have any allergies we need to know about? What are they?

Has anyone ever touched touched you inappropriately? Who was it? When?

Why does it have to be the forbidden question? Would children really lie? Or are we afraid of the truth?

you know when i was kid this whole priest molestation thing was starting to come to light. one day my mom and i were in the car and out of the blue she just blurted out 'scottie, did any of our priests ever touch you in a bad way or making you do something you didnt want to do'. i was shocked....i was literally stunned into silence for what seemed like 5 hours.....she naturally took this to mean someone had, i said 'no, no mom, never.' (its kinda ironic she thought it possible i was being abused at church but not by grandma at home) i mean i really was stunned by the question and it didnt even happen to me. i can imagine what a reaction for a kid who had would be.
