My favorite, "But that was an old conversation" lie. Let's not forget that the Medical Board were quoted as saying they had no reports. In fact, they were vehement about it.

Delaware needs to do a little shake up with that "Society", IMO.

Unfortunately it isn't just Delaware IMO. The medical society is made up of doctors, doctors who fear being charged with malpractice or inappropriate behavior with their own patients (even if they hadn't done anything wrong). So they will bend over backward to avoid holding another responsible, just in case they might be wrong.

But in the case of molestation, that is a criminal act, and one they are required to report which would give them more evidence for or against the doctor. So failing to report it is especially heinous as well as illegal for themselves. Since they failed to report the allegations could they be held responsible as an accessory, as they in effect covered for the doctor by failing to report?

Educated man like that? I think he should be burned alive and it should be broadcast nationwide for all the other educated perverts to take note.

Delaware crime: Board revokes Dr. Earl Bradley's medical license
Rape suspect signs consent, admits no guilt

By JEFF MONTGOMERY • The News Journal • February 20, 2010

Delaware's Board of Medical Practice permanently revoked imprisoned Lewes pediatrician Earl B. Bradley's medical license Friday under a deal reached Thursday with the rape suspect and his attorney.

Meeting in Dover, eight board members voted unanimously to yank Bradley's license after a four-minute public discussion.

Board Vice President Raymond L. Moore Sr., a citizen member from Sussex County, said the move reflected the seriousness of the case for victims and Bradley.

"We're imposing the most severe sanction that can be imposed under our statute," Moore said.

Board spokesman James Collins said the consent agreement with Bradley averted the need for a closed evidence hearing, which had been scheduled for Friday morning.
.......................
On Friday, board members relased a consent document in which Bradley said he "voluntarily agrees" to transfer of his patients' records to other professionals, and agrees to the seizure of his offices' medication stocks, needles and other supplies "in order to protect the public."

Moore said the board's decision will immediately be shared with licensing agencies in other states.

justice really does move slowly......

Everyone of those Dr.'s that refused to report it will be sued. They should make them all sit in a room together and force them to watch all the videos of that monster molesting those little kids.

Pepsi, chips AND bathroom break.

Medical board's fear finally came true. Their lack of previous action became public. So of course the only remedy for that is to (finally) revoke his license. Something that should have been done before.

State clears Baybees Property

"Early this morning, state employees armed with heavy equipment were at the Route 1 property of a Lewes pediatrician charged with abusing numerous patients.

"We're taking down everything that is offensive from the highway," said Deputy Attorney General Patty Dailey Lewis, as a rhinoceros cartoon character standing near the entrance to the Bradley practice was removed....."

It's about time. Way back I posted about that.

No doubt there's some poor kids being shuttled to and from school or sports or dance class that have to pass that monstrosity. If any of them are children monster assaulted the site of that stuff could be a rigger.

The most frightening thing to me was that big a*s knight in armour. It pains me to think that ten years from now or twenty years from now some poor adult will have a panic attack at the site of a purple rhino balloon.

Praying that good counseling helps overcome all those PTSD horrors. To this day the site of one of those old styrafoam coolers freaks me out. It did for years and I didn't know. Same thing with the smell of cedar water. I get physically sick from that smell.

I CANNOT get across this point strongly enough. About two years after our children were raped and the neighbors sold the house, a nice contractor and dad bought it. He knew our kids from school and was well aware of what they'd been through. He was doing a massive remodeling on the house and even talked to the DA about what to do if he found "anything".

He came over one day and announced that he had a backhoe coming in to dismantle the two story bird coop where the bulk of our children's rapes (and our animals deaths and mutilations occurred). The man was nice enough to let our kids sit up on top of their play structure on our side of the fence and watch the boards be torn down, one by one. Our kids had had to look at that monstrosity out their bedroom windows for two years. They hated it. Who knows how many nightmares were caused by the mere view of that place.

As the last boards were taken down, our children let out a huge cheer. The contractor and my husband walked with the children through the ruin and let them "feel" the destruction of the place where they'd been raped. It was a very cathartic day.

 Mind boggling. 400 counts (and those are just those they have evidence on so far)!!

Not that it really matters, but isn't this unprecedented? My Lord, think of the work that the attorneys and investigators went through to detail 400 separate charges. That's a massive amount of interviewing, record searching, forensics exams, etc. Everyone involved must be exhausted and the work has just begun.

What wonderful new neighbors! That's very cool that they did that.

Does anyone have an educated opinion on how this case will proceed? 471 charges and 103 victims (and more could come forward)? How can a trial encompass this number of witnesses or even the massive amount of evidence? The shared grief in that community must be beyond belief. My guess is that the therapists and clergy will be kept busy for decades.

And we all know, with each step in the investigative process and preparation for trial, there will be new traumas and triggers. My prayers are with the families of Lewes tonight. I wish I could take a dish. It sounds so trite but every dish that came to our front door was like manna. A meal we didn't have to make as we were processing our pain.

i assume with all those charges he's facing life for it.
i dont know if the state would plead out to avoid the long trial for the victims.

I'm willing to bet the state charged each and every count they could right now (and I would not be all that surprised if more charges get added down the road) in part to pressure for a plea.

If it goes to trial, many of the charges/victims would likely be dropped. One, as you point out, that's just way too many witnesses, etc. for one trial. Two, on the off chance that the state doesn't get convictions on some counts, they can always re-file. Three, as the case proceeds, the state will get a better idea of who will make a 'good' witness, be less traumatized by testifying, etc.

But if this doesn't end in some sort of plea deal I'd be quite surprised.

  • #459
I'd be seriously surprised if he even attempts to plead not guilty to any of the charges, seeing how it would be impossible for him to recall exact details of all 471 (and counting) crimes and 103 (and counting) victims and refute any of them specifically. WITH video evidence of them all. Seriously, would he really pursue a trial and all the publicity/humiliation that goes with it, in order to get 470 life sentences instead of 471?? :waitasec:

ETA: And as he and everyone else knows, he's safer behind bars for life at this point! Even the bail bondsman knows it, he won't post bail!

  • #460
Well, he videotaped all of this, so would the children really need to testify? I am thinking they should just sit him down in a room with all the videos, go through them one by one and he could just not fight it. Am I dreaming?
