Decorah, IA - Bald Eagle Cam: Watch the babies! #2

I think she/he threw it out.. I can't see it anymore lol

I love the close-up shot of the baby!!! But they can back up now because he's sleeping and now all I can see is feathers.

Backed up now, thank you!

Since watching the bird cam.. my parrot has started to honk like a goose... I do not like this.
She just proves she could do it.. god help me.
Volume on bird cam OFF LOL

Sassy is getting really good at turning and moving around :)

Looks like they are almost out of hoarded food.. hopefully the other one comes back soon with something big!!
Hopefully instinct tells them it's gonna be nasty and they get enough food piled up to last through the weekend.

I dont know what setting they were just using on the camera, looks like they are playin around a bit. but the picture cleared up wonderfully ! Very sharp and crisp!

Awww baby came out for some air and looks like taking a cat nap. Nice zoom!!

sassy is eating on her own!! She's pecking at the meat in front of her!!

Those babies are hungry they are all sticking their heads out LOL

LOL They sound like my baby chihuahua barking. =) SO very very cute!

I get curious sometimes and if you google: "decorah eagles how to tell them apart" WS is the third link down. hehehe

ETA: the first link is, of course, raptor resource. =)

Did they eat the fish and the furry thing from yesterday?

Busy traffic day on the road below! I think I've seen three cars go by in the last ten minutes - I don't think I've seen more than two cars on any given day each day that I've watched. I notice weird things like that as the area I am in is saturated with traffic just about 24/7....

Wonder why the cars on stopped on road down there?

That car or at least similar ones stop frequently down there.....I think they must be able to see the nest with binoculars from there, if you watch closely, you can see someone get out and walk to the front of the car and move around a bit there.

It is probably just a local person who enjoys checking in on the nest whenever they drive down that road, or maybe even makes a point to do so frequently.
