I thought I read somewhere that JH went to a counsellor or a school psychologist at some point?

Did I miss a link? I don't see anything saying defendant was seeing a psychiatrist, at school or not, years or one day?

Thinking same in trying to get caught up?

University had agenda with silence --- not the privacy stuff

He had been seeing THEIR doc huge problem (IMO, doc has hard road ahead of him)

Has psyc history , years...

Has been involved with psychiatrist - all they do is prescribe psyc meds!

He suffers with mental illness (chronic/severe)

IMO mom will now come forward! YEH! Now we will get his story.... IMO, fell though the cracks (societal issue IMO)

Did you not read the parts about how it's not even known what his relationship with this psychiatrist is/was!!!!! We don't know if he was seeing her for counseling....we don't know if she was a program professor for him....or a mentor....or anything!

Unless you have seen something to confirm who this psychiatrist is, and their relationship to Holmes...you are making some huge assumptions.

Yes, sounds like a typical teenager with interest in science. Of course he wasn't a "super-scientist." He was only at the beginning of his career. It normally takes a really long time before someone accomplishes something in science. First, regular college. Then graduate school. Then working as a post doc. Then as a faculty. He was what appears to be on a normal career path toward that. It doesn't mean he was a genius. But it also doesn't mean there was something wrong with his "academic credentials."

Do you have additional facts that might help us understand your reasoning?
Is there a mailbox at the theatre that you believe he mailed the package from after the massacre and before his arrest?

Definitely interested in hearing what you might share.

Scroll back, I posted links earlier about the 2 suspicious packages that arrived Monday. I think the packages Fox is talking about today are in fact the packages that arrived Monday, not a week ago as Fox reported an hour ago.

We don't even know if Holmes ever saw the shrink. Apparently the Dr. did not recognize the students name on the return address. Sounds to me like he was not a patient.

According to the FoxNews article:
One package was slipped under the door (professor didn't recognize the sender)
The other package (the notebook) was in the mail room

It's possible the one the professor didn't recognize didn't have JH's name anywhere

Who really knows though? It's confusing!

This is all your opinion, since there is no evidence to support any of your statements. Also, I don't care what comes out about James Holmes, his mother won't be "coming forward." There is nothing for her to "come forward" about.

I think the one in mail room was the one with the notebook. Doesn't sound like it was ever delivered. It's summer and they are probably very slow with the mail.

Oh I read that but the info that Fox is reporting wasn't reported in the articles about the suspicious packages.

And wouldn't it seem likely that after the massacre the school went through it's backlogged mail to see if there was anything from him or packages potentially dangerous?

I know it was reported that media outlets mail was being checked for items from the monster as there was a thought he might have sent something similar to the Virginia Tech monster
