Well actually I'm here because I don't like the idea of vigilante justice and police corruption. I also don't feel like shutting up about it.

There are so many threads here all with victims so why choose this case? I don't really know. Maybe I'll figure it out someday or maybe the reason will just be there in my mind and I will know.

In the meantime I can't forget and be silent until there is a proper investigation with logical findings for both deaths.

Also, I see a trend developing with Dina's "tidbit" about Rebecca not being left alone with Max and another family member. I combined it with what other posters here stated or insinuated about Rebecca having a child.

I wonder has it occurred to anyone what the meme is that Dina may be developing?

Some of the seeds are as follows:

*Dina did not want Rebecca to be alone with Max when she was with another family member.

*Dina can't tell why this is because Rebecca may have embarrassing secrets.

*Gore threatened to expose the entire file.

*Why doesn't Rebecca's younger sister speak up?

*Rebecca had a child.

I think Dina thinks she going to strike a coup by stating she did not want Rebecca to be alone with Max because Rebecca's little sister is really her daughter. I think she'll accuse Rebecca's sister/daughter of attacking and harming Max. She'll then say Rebecca covered the whole thing up and killed herself.

This version of the "TRUTH" is no more believable than the other alleged versions. This version is worse though because it involves damaging an innocent minor to cover a murder someone wants everyone to believe was a suicide.

Only time will tell why these seeds are being planted at this late date. JMO.

Also there is NO evidence whatsoever Max's half-siblings and his father were NOT there.

If the child's injuries did not support RZ's explanation of what happened, of course the doctor is going to request a criminal investigation and he did.

You are incorrect about what evidence exists. There is evidence that Max's half-siblings and his father were not there. It is in the form of statements given to police by RZ and her sister. If LE questioned their credibility about it, there are no doubt airline records and phone records that LE used or can use to support the whereabouts of the father and half-siblings at the time of the child's injury.

Thank you for re-raising this. According to Adam himself, he was doing nothing that would have prevented him from hearing the screams that neighbors much further away heard. Isn't it odd that he didn't check the house after hearing screams? After all, his nephew had just had a terrible accident in that house.

Who says only one sister was at the Mansion? Nina say's she was there (blonde and svelte) and someone witnessed and reported to the police seeing someone not at all with the same appearance...in fact I believe AB said the witness said the woman resembled Dina!

AB confirmed yesterday that Jonah was at the gym at the time of Max's accident and Dina was at the hospital the night of Rebecca's. They were both on security cameras

Why didn&#8217;t you follow-up with the neighbors when they heard screams?
A detailed statement was taken from the neighbor who heard a scream. The scream heard was about two and one-half hours before Rebecca&#8217;s voice mail was accessed on her phone, and the witness believed it could have been attributed to several teens which were in the area at the time. The witness could not tell exactly where the scream came from, but gestured to an area more toward the beach rather than the mansion. This interview was conducted the first day of the investigation.

If the teen harmed MS in the past, bullied him or in any way caused him to fear her, then DS has every right to insist the case be re-opened. The fact is that DS said she raised concerns to JS and her worst fears became reality. The child deserves justice no matter who harmed him and his mother has experts agreeing with her that he was intentionally harmed.

At this point it has absolutely nothing to do with whether the teen was RZ's sibling or daughter. If it is true she is her daughter, the family certainly has continued the misrepresentation and that doesn't help their credibility. Justice for the child is his mother's priority.

The reason it took them 30 minutes was because of a lengthy period of time without ANY CPR that had elapsed. According to the AR, an officer was told RZ performed CPR but she wasn't performing it when he arrived. Either she lied or her CPR was improperly performed. Kinda shocking considering she was a medical assistant in a surgeon's office. She stood by and was doing nothing when LE arrived. I find her lack of action deplorable.

Look, since you act like you have the facts and the "real" info, why are you on the internet and on this site? To manage spin control? If you are so full of facts go to the LE, go to Dina's attorney's, etc. You obviously are the source for knowledge and facts about Dina, Nina, and Jonah...thank god there isnt a Santa Maria. If we all have it wrong here then why bother yourself with all of us....just tell us what happened and we can all move on to some other opportunity to fill time.

I, like many others, believe SDSO got it right. Rebecca Zahau killed herself. And many think she felt guilty in connection to something that happened with Max. Or was a least worried about getting in trouble for it.

I'm just tired of seeing all the victim bashing. Jonah and Dina lost a precious child. Adam and Nina lost a precious nephew.

And I'm tired of seeing the same rumors for the last year.

I like science, DNA, fingerprints, and FACTS. I can tell you don't. So we'll just have to agree to disagree, eh?

The AR and the report from the medical expert have been linked. Nowhere does either expert report even suggest that the brain death was an instant result of the spinal injury or that CPR was useless as you continue to claim.

I am just trying to catch up on a fast-moving thread so I apologize if this has already been posted.

Not addressing the poster but jumping off from this post:

I'm not a clinician, but I work in the medical field, and I guarantee you that it is SOP for a social worker to be called in for an assessment any time a child with traumatic injuries as serious as Max's is seen in the emergency department.

(And, BTW, in many instances in which the child suffers less serious injuries. Unless perhaps the child was airlifted from a serious car crash, as an example of an exception. But even then, a social worker is usually called in to consult with the family if for no other reason than to provide referrals to services they will need in the days ahead.)

So, whether the attending physician believes the injuries were caused by an accident or not is irrelevant. It is not his/her responsibility to determine that, nor is it the social worker's, but it is the social worker's responsibility to decide whether there is reason to contact CPS to investigate the circumstances surrounding the injuries.

At least that's what I've observed in my job. It may be different elsewhere, but I doubt if it varies that much from place to place especially since I'm local.

So IMO the reasons behind the social worker's recommendation to enlist CPS would be most enlightening.

Any sources for this info besides DS's statements? I am not saying I doubt her, but I like to have original sources.
