This could be devastating. Possibly more searching could turn this around.
Caylee's death was determined by Dr. G as homicide by undetermined means.
But LE stated last week they have found as much of him as they are going to . So something has lead to make this statement for whatever reason .
It sounds like the coroner is saying neither cause nor manner of death can be determined. I hope I'm wrong.
"I've been up on Middle Mountain several times driving through there, trying to see if there's any particular area that kinda stands out to me. It's a road about 10 miles long up into the back country, so I mean it's very heavily wooded...there's a million little side cutoffs for ya know ATV type vehicles and motorcycles er hiking trails and things like that, so there's a lot of land here that we're talking about to cover...ya know nothin specifically jumps out at me and that but ya know there have been locations throughout ..cuz right now you can only get so far up, um it wasn't until recently that I realized that they even had a gate up there, but at this point in the year there's still snow up there in the higher portion of this road, so they don't even have the gates open to be able to get up there. Now I do know in communicating with law enforcement that they've been up there and that's how I know this n that but ya know I don't know exactly where to look so I mean I get out and I can wander around and I can look and do whatever...but ya know the canine team...

Here he is rambling on about the disposal site, assuring everyone he does not know exactly where to look and never even knew there was even a gate up there....
In general, why not just leave the pack with the body?
Also earlier on I saw a post on here mentioning that Elaine and Mark was told about Dylan's remains at about the same time which I think is false if this to be believed ?
Anyone have any ideas as to what would be a fantastic hiding place for a backpack but not a body? I don't know why someone would bother to hide them separately, unless maybe there was some evidence on the pack.
The middle of the lake? Maybe the pack would sink but the body wouldn't stay.
Maybe some small but inaccessible space in a building? Not a good place for a body.
One crazy idea I had would be to donate it and the contents to a thrift store, after buying a load of other used goods at a different thrift store to provide camouflage. If no one realized it was the missing pack, it would go to a new owner, none the wiser.

This is just PURE SPECULATION on my part, but I believe that Elaine might have been told earlier than Mark's return. She and Cory and MH were all in on the search that week. I do believe they would have figured out that something big was happening.
And since she had already been working closely with LE, I believe they probably gave her a heads up that remains were possibly found. :rose: But she would certainly want it to be kept secret, so they could convince Mark to return from his road trip. JMO

More and more "no body" murders are bing tried, so cause of death is not the absolute it once was.
I thought they were all told (what was it Tues) that some things had been found but they didn't say bones were found. and they waited till thurs when the dna came back and Mark came back and told them it was Dylan,
I might be wrong but.....
