Most of you know that I've been following Jahi's thread since the beginning. I still check in daily to see if there are any updates. Last night, I found out that a young man who is the owner of a forum that hubby and I frequent went in to have a tonsillectomy at the beginning of the month. Yesterday, after being home and recovering, he woke up to severe bleeding. The bleeding would not stop, so he went to the ER and is now admitted to the hospital and being treated. He should be fine, from what his updates say. But, it brought home to me just how random these after effects can be. This young man is very health-conscious, and I can't imagine him disobeying his doctor's orders. Plus, the bleeding began over a week after his surgery.
I guess what I'm trying to say is that it can happen to anyone, at any time, even when you follow your doctor's post-surgery orders.
Still thinking of you, Jahi.
