FBI Investigating Email That Could Land Cindy In Jail

Intent...that's exactly right, Suzi. I think some may be missing the point. It isn't about whether an attempt to make things more difficult or impossible for LE was successful, or whether LE could have gotten the sample some other way. It is Cindy's act (or non-act) and her intent that is the potential obstruction.

Even if LE had 100 Caylee hairs with full roots sitting in the lab, Cindy doesn't have a right to attempt to thwart or delay LE's efforts and requests. In fact, this particular instance could actually have been a test of Cindy's truthfulness and cooperation by the FBI, just to gauge how much (if at all) they could trust her to truly help in the investigation. Something to consider, anyway.

I'm guessing that LE/SA will want to avoid being seen as piling on the grief-stricken grandparents, so Cindy will get a pass. However, something's telling me that there's more Cindy's done than we're aware of right now. Maybe she's even done something so egregious that LE can't let it pass. Time will tell.

Every time I have the misfortune to see her, the drama and the desperation increase. Along with these recent events like the release of spokesman, departure of attorney, FBI tapes of the grandparents, today's hearing and this alleged email and the Thanksgiving and holiday season in December with no Caylee, look for a rapid break down of some measure to occur. As my mother taught me way back, the truth will out whether she doesn't anything more or not.

Indeed it is - or at least it always has been. The Grieving Grandmother pass is something new.

There's some leeway and discretion in charging people with various crimes. You'd think all laws would apply across the board to everyone, but there's definitely discretion in both bringing charges and in which charges to bring, depending on circumstances.

Honestly, I think it would be a blessing to Cindy, for her own sake (emotionally and physically) if she were removed from this entirely for a period of time. She looks so haggard, almost defeated. I think she's close to the total breaking point.

I remember KC saying that, was it at Universal when they started questioning her?
I think so. I remember that phrase from the first set of document dumps, I think it was from Universal.

I'm not buying that at all. Who cares if your visits are recorded, if you are just there to offer love and support. They don't HAVE to talk about the case.
Maybe they can't bring themselves to go through the charade of having to talk to Casey about progress in the search for a little one they all know is no longer alive.

If Cindy had thought Caylee was alive I think she would have given LE the right hairbrush.

Since I do believe George and Cindy loved Caylee, their defense of Casey says they have given up all hope. LG's revelation shows they knew Caylee was gone early in the case.

I don't think Cindy would be as careless about what she gave LE if she believed Caylee's life depended upon accuracy.

IMO

She gave them the wrong brush on purpose because she doesn't want the FBI Lab to confirm what she already knows. She can't bear to hear the truth. Same reason she would have given them the dog's toothbrush. As long as she can claim it's junk science, she can continue to say Klee is alive, and create reasonable doubt for KC

bold by me: I really like the theme that LE/SA are doing with the A's. To arrest any of them now or prior to the trial will make them martyrs. Better to let the barrel of A's doing their thing; keep it on a roll. CA's personality will be her undoing. Whether LG or WFTV is on a mission to expose them; I say let them at her/them. CA might finally get to the emotional point that she does lose brain-to-mouth control and spills her guts. And if and when it happens, I sincerely hope there is a camera recording it. I am not saying she will have a break down. I am saying she will get to the point where she forgets what she is saying and once the words start flowing, she cannot take them back nor back peddle.

This is the day I anxiously await for. A confession, not realizing a confession was made.

I like the fact he will say more in the future and can't wait to see in what capacity...

Oh man oh man..............she burned the wrong person. Why she think so many will be loyal after she pretty much tortures them is beyond me. I can't believe she let LG talk to KC. I bet Baez could just smack her.
I think this also shows she knew darn good & well what she was doing when she washed the clothes.

Stinky pants that came out of a car that smelled like death and your granddaughter is no where to be found?

Not everything the anthony's did was suspicious, but in light of the how bad this car smelled, the fact that they even went in the car let alone took stuff out of it, is in and of itself suspicious.

especially with GA being former LE and both he and CA proclaiming they knew what dead bodies smelled like.

Now that her scheme has been exposed, ix-nay on maintaining any semblance of reasonable doubt.

Acknowledging what she did in writing was a huge mistake on Cindy's part.

I do believe that CA should be accountable for her behavior. Would she go in protective custody next to KC? just kidding....

Three points...

1. I do believe that CA is trying to protect KC. But, CA knows that KC is in a "safe place" per her FBI interviews. I think what CA is trying to do is save her identity as a mother, grandmother, family, etc. One thing that sticks out in my mind was from the beginning (day one) CA would say "We are a loving family." I think she is trying to save herself.

2. According to the bond hearing CA said that she was not working but her company was continuing to pay her. She said she had used up all her vacation time and now the company was paying her because they have provisions in case of an emergency. If she is charged, I wonder if the company would still continue to pay her? If she broke the law while out for "emergency purposes" I would really readdress that if I was her supervisor.

If CA had to go back to work, I think alot of this stuff would cease. If she went back to work (in an administrative position, not actually with patients) she would not have time to search for Klee and fight with the authorities and media.

3. If nothing else this hairbrush ordeal has ruined CA credibility as a witness supporting her daughter.

Respectfully,
BeagleMom

I agree, McSev. Something's got to give. She seems close to that point to me as well. Question is, will she explode or implode? Either way, I wouldn't want to be anywhere near when that happens!

I'll sure be curious as to what happens after Casey's trial.

It may land him in civil court, but he can say whatever he wants. It's not criminal.

ETA: got MN and LG confused. Sorry!

It could get him disbarred. Confidentiality is a big deal and is normally forever. He can't say what he wants.

If she gave them Caylee's toothbrush and everything else that they asked for, but not the correct hairbrush, then maybe the problem wasn't the DNA...maybe it was the brush itself. At that point in time, there was still a very good chance that Caylee's body would be found, since it was early in the investigation. MAybe there were marks on Caylee's body that would have matched the hairbrush? Think about it, some brushes are kinda heavy, they have that nice handle for easy swinging and people who beat their kids usually use things that are close at hand. I can't imagine a bruah as the murder weapon unless the person swinging it has one hack of an arm, but still, it's a theory.
CA couldn't pitch Casey as the perfect mother if her Caylee turned up with obvious trauma marks that could be matched to an object in her home.
