I don't have any problem whatsoever with LE in FL finally taking ZC's behavior seriously.
He had numerous issues with the law in the past. Skateboarding on hood of police car?
Weren't people complaining NC never got the help he needed?

My feelings exactly. Apparently he was also accused of skateboarding on hood of police car, among other things. He had numerous run ins with the law, just like his older brother (NC).

Why did she take them in if they were so dangerous? She knows how to search for criminal records. She cant find “legal employment”, so how can she afford to care for 2 grown boys? Because “Lynda didn’t give her any money.” She knew ZC stopped going to school, she didn’t schedule a meeting with the teacher. She claims she saw them harming their own Mother.

Why did she take them in if they were so dangerous? She knows how to search for criminal records. She cant find “legal employment”, so how can she afford to care for 2 grown boys? Because “Lynda didn’t give her any money.” She knew ZC stopped going to school, she didn’t schedule a meeting with the teacher. She claims she saw them harming their own Mother.

She seems like an opportunist to the fullest extent imo. I’ll refrain from going on *too long* of a rant about her, since I am sure others feel the same way as I do. But I will note. Her and her rich ex husband divorced, and multiple DV accusations were a part of the divorce. She had to move out of her rich husbands cushy home into a trailer. She looks at the Cruz family and sees dolla bills. Whether it’s thru LCs estate, or via interviews and the like. JMO

She seems like an opportunist to the fullest extent imo. I’ll refrain from going on *too long* of a rant about her, since I am sure others feel the same way as I do. But I will note. Her and her rich ex husband divorced, and multiple DV accusations were a part of the divorce. She had to move out of her rich husbands cushy home into a trailer. She looks at the Cruz family and sees dolla bills. Whether it’s thru LCs estate, or via interviews and the like. JMO

That mentality does affect vulnerable teenagers..

If she wants in.. she's gonna need to learn what's required..
Her entire life will become public and open to scrutiny and the tears will be real, next time..

Is there a benefit system in US whereby she could have claimed state financial assistance for giving the brothers a home?

I have been wondering of late whether their birth mother could possibly be still alive and rehabilitated sufficiently to give them what she never could have once..?

Both of them are adults, not boys. As far as I can tell, she says she did it because Lynda wanted her to, but she doesn't have any actual proof of that. Apparently Lynda didn't leave a will or any other directions in writing.

Ah yes I probably had entangled the custody issues with the relationship issues. I’m only going off an article I read in the past couple weeks about the DV issues and custody issues. Looking back, I don’t think it said anything about divorce, so that was just me misunderstanding.

I read that her name is on Lynda’s death certificate. Haven’t seen it. I’d like to know how that went down.

What do you think birth mother could possibly give them now? Do you expect that NC is going to get out of prison for birth mother to give him whatever she couldn't give them before?
And if she is still alive, it doesn't appear she is eager to claim them. This wasn't a closed adoption, so presumably birth mother would know who they are. Hasn't shown up yet as far as I know.

Roxanne Deschamps told deputies that Cruz abruptly left and went to a sporting goods store to pick up a gun he had previously ordered.

"I'm afraid if he comes back, and he has a lot of weapons, and he has a weapon that he is going to get at Dick's (Sporting Goods) right now because he purchased it," she said, noting that his aggressive behavior wasn't new.

Police found Cruz at a nearby park, the report said.
