JVM just mentions Trayvon's autopsy report has been sealed and will not be released, until and only maybe if the case goes to court. I would think the parents have a right to this information.

The congresswoman said she saw it!

I knew she misspoke about the broken nose.

That's weird?

This is true but apparently it appears his injuries are not consistent with a "diaper change". The slamming he claims to have happened does not appear to have happened as he described so what about the rest of his story. Also what happened now has versions???? jmo

How much force does it take to injure a brain? Ever heard of shaken baby syndrome? Some people bleed/bruise more than others, also skin tone can mask bruises.

I do want GZ protected. The bounty on his head is frightening and terroristic in nature to me.

I would also like to see GZ arrested. This case is too hinky. The john doe in the morgue, parents having to file missing persons report, no gun allowed on neighborhood watch, no drug test or sobriety test, video of GZ with no apparent injuries from stated attack, slow slurry speech on 911 call etc. etc. etc. Let him have his day in court and be given full rights accorded to him by law. But may he not be arrested because of threats of escalation. How dare they.

POST OF THE DAY IMHO

I think the underlying issue that can't be denied is what started all of it was GZ calling 911 on a boy walking down the street.
That's it.That's all the evidence I need to determine GZ was the aggressor.
Trayvon may have hit him,Trayvon may have been on top of him because he was scared. It was his right to defend himself against a stranger with a gun.
Trayvon is dead.
GZ was not seriously injured.

If George was aggressive and wanted to murder Trayvon for "WWB", he didn't have to wait until he was on the ground and on his back.

The gun wasn't produced until George was on his back being beat up.

Trayvon didn't know about the gun, until George stuck it in his chest and pulled the trigger. A smart man doesn't run towards a gun...

Anybody think the information turned over to Cory and others is so padded and convoluted that they won't be able to make heads or tails of it?

I sure hope not. I'm more worried that there just isn't any evidence. I'm afraid the cops didn't follow the proper procedure and protocol, that there are no photos, that Zimmerman's clothes were not taken, that there was no drug testing on Zimmerman, that his hands were not checked and possible evidence collected from them, that the bullet wound was not investigated and the paths that the bullet took was not performed, that all of the witnesses haven't been properly questioned, etc., etc., etc. These are the things that worry me the most. I just have a feeling that they didn't investigate anything, that they just took his story as the truth and let him go home.

the video evidence taken shortly after the killing does not show a severely beaten man. He was cleaned up by the fire department-did they wash and iron his clothes? The police report? When was it written? By who? The same police that sent the killer home and publicly declared his innocence prior to the conclusion of the investigation. This police dept has a history of racial incidents. The chief who just stepped down had been brought in to "clean the place up" after a previous racial incident.

HIPPA? There is nothing preventing GZ and his atty from releasing the medical records which would show his severe injuries. As of yet, I have no idea how many people in Sanford are in on the effort to cover up and whether that's because they intended to do this or because they need to cover up the shoddy police work they thought they could get away with.

Read the police report. Also, he was cleaned up by the SFD Rescue #38. #38's report is protected by HIPPA, so you won't see it in the media. So, are they in on the conspiracy too?

That brings me to the question why didn't Zimmerman go to the hospital? because it doesn't take much, remember the actress who died on the small ski slope?

There is some merit to this post, but but but
Why would you need to test his hands? he said he shot him
so there wont be more proff then that on his hands.
I read someplace that his jacket was taken.

When forensics come back on Trayvon's clothes that state that Trayvon's clothes did not have grass stains/debris on the back of his hoodie, I will concede that George was on the bottom the entire time.

That still doesn't answer who put whose hands on who first?

How and why does that matter?

not meant to anyone in particular but the way this is being quoted looks like I said both things and I didn't. I am no fan of any racism but I also don't think reverse racism is an institutionalized matter in this country like racism against blacks and others is and has been. As I white person I am acutely aware of the benefits I automatically enjoy because of my race and I would be embarrassed to complain about reverse racism. I would ask people to try and separate the quotes-thanks!

I'm very sorry about that. I tried to fix it. I'm not sure why it showed that way. My sociology background makes that expression (reverse racism) very distasteful to me. I would not knowingly misattribute it. Again, I apologize.

Baby's brains are not the same as adults. When shaken their brain moves more freely within the skull than adults. People do bruise and bleed more easily and that is why after seeing the video I'd be releasing that doctor's report GZ said he had that said his nose was broken and he needed stitches that first night. No reason not to. His family is making statements, why not a report from his doctor. I seen bruises on peole with darker skin. When I get a dark tan if I bruise you can still see it. I don't see an EMT letting GZ go straight to the police station without a doctor checking him out. jmo

How do we know that GZ didn't have the gun out when he came up upon Trayvon? Too late for Trayvon to do much then. Isn't it being said now that Trayvon spotted GZ's gun, but the story is that he spotted it when GZ was reaching for his cell phone?

DOn't know about anyone else but I can believe that Trayvon saw the gun, but not because GZ was reaching for his cell phone.

And being the First aggressor doesn't necessarily mean he had to set out to murder him when he followed him or it's self defense.

As for these two, I thought that the police came to Mr. Martin the next day and asked him to identify his son. I also thought that Mr. Martin said that he called the police the next morning to see if they had turned him up, but couldn't place a missing persons report because it was too soon. The police arrived later that morning.

The next morning, when he woke up, Tracy realized that Trayvon had not returned home.

"I started making calls, and I reached my nephew," Martin says. "He said he hadn't seen Trayvon. Then I really started getting worried. So I called the Sheriff's department to file a missing persons report. I let them know it hadn't been 24 hours, but it was unusual for Trayvon not to return home."

Three police cars soon pulled up and a detective asked Tracy for a recent picture of his son. "I had one on my phone, so I showed it to him," Tracy says, his voice tightening. "He told me he was going to show me a photo and ask if it was my son. He pulled out a photo of Trayvon's dead body. And the nightmare began."

Great point!
I didn't think of that.

No reason to bag the hands for residue.

I thought Zimmerman's father conceded that Zimmerman had the gun "shelled" or "shown?" How would Trayvon not see the gun before the shot if he was fighting Zimmerman for it?

  • #638
How and why does that matter?

Because it would show that Trayvon was also on the bottom at some point.

GZ being on the ground doesn't automatically show he wasn't still the first aggressor, it could show he was just losing a fight that he started.

Here is the bio for the attorney that was contacted 2 days after he shooting....

http://parkscrump.com/attorneys/benjamin-crump/

And if you read his bio, I think it's safe to say, if this case wasn't about race to begin with, it sure was on day 2 when this man was contacted.

Snipped:

Mr. Crump is a frequent author and speaker. He has recently published an article entitled “The Police don’t shoot White Men in the Back, Representing Minority Victims in Police Brutality Cases."

IMO this is where the White vs. Black stuff started. Not that inaudible word GZ may or may not have said.

Everybody wants to call GZ a racist because of a word that we can't even hear clearly.

From that article, linked in the previous thread (I'll find it if y'all want a link) this attorney has been a big part of calling for rallies and protests.

Take this attorney, JJ, AS, and he Black Panthers, how is it not RACIAL???

JMO

The race issue started when GZ called 911.Do you really think he would have made the same phone call if Trayvon was white?

To he fair, didn't his BROTHER make the diaper comment. Your post makes it sound like GZ said that.
I don't think he did.

Yes, his brother did.
