Here we go again. Either I have totally misunderstood the previous stories, or something is way off.
I heard it as- the G/F tucked in kids at 8. She went to bed at 10. G/F went to the bathroom at 3:30, came back and discovered Haliegh missing.

This was the first story I heard...


Then according to Fox:

But in the police report, obtained by FOX News, Cummings reportedly told officers that his "dumb girlfriend" told him Haleigh was gone when he got home from work.

I just do not understand how the GF could not have heard someone come in her room. On Greta the father was talking about how he has a dead bolt on the door and that he has it a certain way that the little girl wouldn't be able to open that door and that she wouldn't open the door to strangers.

I really think that whoever took that little girl that it was somoene she knew. IDK I just think its odd. I mean the GF didn't even call 911 until the father got there.

watching Greta again - didn't catch bio-dad's sister's last name but first is Crystal.

It's Crystal Cummings (his sister).

Basically how I have it is:

Ronald Cummings- Father
Crystal Sheffield- Mother
Marie Griffis- Grandmother (maternal side)
Chad Griffis- Mothers fiancee or boyfriend (not sure why the grandmother and him have the same last name)
Misty Croswell (I could be wrong on the spelling)- Fathers girlfriend
Crystal Cummings- Aunt (fathers sister)
Johnny Sheffield- Grandfather (maternal side)
Sarah ?- Aunt (mothers sister)

Just listening to the replay of Nancy Grace - hearing the Dad talk about not knowing where the cinder block came from - that he didn't go out in the back too often - he rents and does not know what the previous tennants had around...

Prevoius tennants???? Sounds like someone who'd be way comfortable in the place at night - no? A good place to look sleuthers?

Hi,

When little Jessica Lundsford went missing I was so sure her father was the culprit. He didn't come off at first very well when speaking to the media. He looked funny to me, like he was from the backwoods. And that hair, his appearance, it was almost sleazy lookin' to me, comparing him with the average American father.

I have never been more wrong in my life, and if I could, I would tell him that to his face today, and thank Mark for being such a wonderful father to his precious little girl.


In this case I do not like the immediate responses I have heard from this father. Like they are thought out to be strong, to portend he cares so much for his Haleigh. I so hope I am wrong about him too. I know the police have been involved in some way with Haleigh, the GF and the father.


When I think about it, so many of the murdering fathers we have seen here look like Ivy Leaguers.or macho men. Neil Entwhistle for instance, just one example.

God Bless her tonight wherever she is. And may the wrath of God help expose the perp who has so disrupted Haleigh's life. I hope she is found soon so she can go back home and grow up like every little Princess should.

I sure hope not but the though did cross my mind. With all of the 'fame' of the Caylee case and donations that were made I am hoping that someone didn't get the idea to fake a kidnapping thinking that they could cash in on it.

With all of the media interviews with them it just makes me fearful that some dumb a$$ will think it's great and figure they will be the next star.

It might be important to look into whether or not the parents really were married. If they weren't then there may also have not been an actual custody agreement filed with the courts. I know in my state, if there was never a marriage, both parents have equal rights to the child. Also the document posted looked like a dismissal of a protective order... Maybe that was a bargaining chip for custody.

I believe he said he was given custody of the children because he was the better parent.

Chrystal has 185 pictures on MySpace most of them are pictures of herself. or a new baby named Chloe.

About 1 page is her car that was trashed in an accident and the bruises she received.

There were about 6 pictures of Haleigh...

maybe he meant the lock on the outer door. We call em' screen doors around here but since they live in a manufactured home I'm guessing it was an aluminum and glass outer door. Not too hard to break into if it's like a mobile home door. But if the inner door had a deadbolt and it was indeed locked, I can't figure out how that could ave been broken into and not been heard.
