Did you watch the first trial? I did not. I'm wondering why it was 8 to 4 for acquittal. That seems VERY unlikely here. If it's hung I think it might be more like 5-1 or 4-2. (6 person jury)

I think the State's rebuttal was VERY good. It doesn't make sense that some crazy person in jail could orchestrate (or even would have reason to) a murder like this.

I didn't watch the first trial. It was probably around the time another trial was going on. I have watched a lot of trials and just don't remember this case at all.

I am waiting for the Closings Arguments to be uploaded on YouTube! So I can watch.

After 19 hours of deliberation during two days, a Leon County jury couldn't agree on whether Henry Segura was responsible for the brutal 2010 slaying of his girlfriend and her children.

I haven't watched the prosecution rebuttal yet. Do ya'll think we'll have verdict today? Probably not, right? It's hopeful that they haven't yet indicated that they're hung though. I think if they were fighting they would've asked questions or said they were hung by now. I'm assuming they're all tired and don't want to spend the night at a hotel sequestered and if they felt like 1 or 2 ppl were just not going to budge they'd try to hang it up and be done. But all just speculation of course.

I would love one tonight, but I think there will be a few that might buy this cartel hit theory.
There are so many lies to wade through. I did think rebuttal was strong and that will be fresh on their minds. Hoping they have a very strong foreman or leader in the group that is willing to fight for a guilty verdict.....My dream is they selected people like us on this thread! Fingers crossed. Imagine what her family is thinking right now

Watching and waiting now, just as I have for years. I know “we” as the public are not privy to everything but I’ve read everything available and believe HS is guilty. Hoping for justice for Brandi and her kids, it’s been too long.

Prince was assigned by the State his name was pulled from a list of conflict lawyers. He is paid by the State at a much more reduced rate than he would receive as a private attorney with his client picking him. This video explains it but he is not doing it out of the kindness of his heart or for free.
