2007, reported having to invent something to earn money to support herself. At that time, didn't want to take meds, because it would stop her from being creative, and she needed to invent something to support herself. Described at that time as having racing thoughts.

History of suicidal thoughts. Multiple times she indicated to her doctors that she would not kill herself because of the children.

While she was at NIMH, they took her off her meds in prep for the treatment protocol. They first diagnosed her with Bipolar Disorder, not otherwise specified. At time of discharge: Bipolar Disorder I, most recently mixed, currently mildly depressed.

Before discharge from NIMH, she was prescribed a total of 7 pschotropic meds.

An "incredible cocktail" -- her new doc in Germany said he'd never seen such a cocktail of meds.

Dr. Taylor confirmed that her mental illness was very difficult to treat. She suffers from a severe form of illness - bipolar disorder.

Am I the only one who finds it odd that almost all (if not ALL) of these Doctors attended USF?

It must be an awesome program to be employed at, plus an amazing area to reside in. I find most times these Dr.'s in trials went to school elsewhere than where they end up practicing. That all the ones in this trial seem so attached to USF does not seem out of the norm.

BBM: The irony is that having attended USF, they have differing opinions.
Unfortunately, we are hearing "probably", "possibly", "most likely", "in my opinion"........

Bipolar I

A person affected by bipolar I disorder has had at least one manic episode in his or her life. A manic episode is a period of abnormally elevated mood, accompanied by abnormal behavior that disrupts life.

Bipolar II

Bipolar II is similar to bipolar I disorder, with moods cycling between high and low over time. However, in bipolar II disorder, the "up" moods never reach full-on mania.

ETA- After watching all of this testimony I will admit I looked this up yesterday because some of these things sounded familiar to me personally (Mood swings, Episodes where I have extreme energy, a bit of anxiety popping up in the last 6 months) Thankfully, not much of it applies to me, I am just a moody B sometimes, sometimes I have more energy, and the anxiety is so mild it is practically not worth noting :blushing:
