I just don't know what to say. I am astounded that the defendant seemed so jovial while the judge was asking him about not wanting to call witnesses, not testifying himself, not having the jury sequestered.

He almost seemed human. Which begs the question of why he chose this path for himself. I can't believe that he had no self-control, but then again I really know nothing about the pathology of a sexual deviant.

I know I stated this earlier but IMO he has enjoyed every minute of this Trial. I'm sure he was bored with the emotion shown by the many witnesses. With all the evidence I would think he was advised early in to plead guilty. He did not.

Yes. And Lord knows we have seen similar "specimens" such as Ted Bundy. So I shouldn't be so aghast at his demeanor. But, it has a lot to do with actually seeing the live broadcast. Seeing it before your very eyes. (IMO)
