Best news ever! I live in Sarasota, just north of North Port. The community outrage was palatable when learning all the details of what went down. So many chances missed to save her, a sheriffs daughter no less.

I’ve often thought of her and her boys over the years. What a relief for her husband and family to know this disgusting piece of poop is no longer breathing.

The law named in her honor has made a difference for many others.
