Sounds more like AB was abusing DB!

All the various unfounded accusations AB made about DB and the fact that she actually left him seem to go against what ferris is saying about what victims of DV actually do unless I'm mistaken.
Then again he has the abused woman pattern that she returns to her abuser over and over.

What about AB abusing DB?
imo:
Her false accusations against him that she filed in court are abusive.

Yeah, he's released.

Anyone else see the prosecutor's cross as beyond concerning?

I would have liked to know how much the Defense paid for that testimony.

Hoping they have a dynamite rebuttal coming up! I am often sitting here with my mouth open when the prosecutor says "no more questions".

Another thing, why is Ashley permitted to listen in on the attorneys and judge at sidebar? I do not recall having seen that in other trials.

The state best have an over the top "power point" closing that addresses all of AB's deceptive, manipulating and lying behavior throughout her marriage with DB.

Ferris had all the abused woman lingo down to a science yet it doesn't address the circumstances surrounding why AB claims she shot DB to death.

Stephanie Murphy's co-worker.
SM was DB's lawyer.

So what he said is it's ok to murder someone because in your mind you think they might harm you?

The SC Restraining Order is a red herring...it was a MUTUAL restraining order requiring both parties to stay away from each other.

Chauvin put on head phones when there was a sidebar.
Looks like it's legal, at least in some states.

imo:
That is exactly what his testimony said to the jury.

How so?

imo:
That was immature game playing.

Brought out on cross of AB, she admitted the SC Restraining Order was for both her and Doug, not just her against Doug

They seem adamant on proving Ashley could not and was not ever a victim of any abuse; rather than focusing on why this jury should find her guilty.

Curious who came up with this Einstein of an idea and how long before they changed their minds.
What a toxic relationship.
As I recently said they deserved each other until they didn't.

OMG!! LMAO @ tracker could not be found on AB's vehicle. So we have the alleged poisoning that was never found, a tracker that was never found and child abuse that was never found. Got it. Nothing to see here!

I'm trying to figure out what positions these 2 female prosecutors hold in the Manatee office.

It appears that it was decided not to use a male prosecutor thinking that could bias a jury since AB claims to having been abused by her husband and killed him in self-defense fearing for her life.
We've all seen brilliant female prosecutors who have won the case for the state and tragically these 2 gals are not among them from their performance so far.

The only hope is a powerful closing( highly doubtful) with the focus on the killing and a few jurors that can cut through all the fog presented and focus on just that.
