I thought so.

Who is this Christopher Marlow and how does he know that there was a half tank of gas in Jennifer's car? He speaks like he knows that was exactly how much gas she had left when the car was dropped off. I think that whole thing is pretty creepy and hope that LE has given that a reading. LE have never mentioned how much gas was in her tank.

I think LE figures another person drove Jennifer's car...a person who was between 5'3" and 5'5" tall....because Jennifer was 5' 7" so the person who drove her car would have moved the seat forward in order to reach her brakes, gas, etc.

Another question I was thinking was the splash marks on the drivers side of the car. That car definitely went through some sort of dirty puddle. I drive a muddy dirt road everyday and don't get splash marks like that. I also did some negatives on her car. Lots of discolorations. Of course some will be reflections from the surrounding building.

That contractor briefcase could be the type item said person is carrying. The car in done in negative. Most are probably just fingerprints and reflections on the car, but behind the front wheel are splash marks. Not typical for in city driving, I wouldn't think.

G'morning Beyond Belief n' all :)

Just wanted to comment on the "splash marks" on Jen's car. Let's remember that Jennifer drove 3 hours to Lauderdale before leaving on her carribbean vacation - and another 3 hours return trip on Monday morning. She went straight to work - not even returning 'first' to her condo.

I would have serious doubts that Jennifer found time during her day to go to a car wash prior to returning home. I really think those dirty splash marks near the tire area were most likely there when she returned on Monday - or at least could have been. LOTS of territory between Orlando & Lauderdale where her car would have encountered puddles or dirty road conditions causing the splashed area.

Hey guys - we have frequent quicky rain showers or thunderstorms down here and just as quickly the weather returns to a beautiful sunny day as though it had never rained. Puddles happen.

Then again - that dirty area coupled with the mud under the car may have occurred 'after' Jen was abducted. I hope LE knows the answer.

I noticed the past few days in our local TV reports that Drew Kesse is confident (no, convinced!) that the abduction occurred on Tuesday morning. The police are more focused on a time frame from just after 10 pm on Monday night until around 8 on Tues. morning.

According to a knowledgeable friend of ours on the OPD - the "POI" is much more than just 'a person of interest' that may or may not have info into Jen's abduction - ie; a person that may have seen someone driving or leaving Jen's car in that 'Huntington On The Green' parking lot. LE is NOT calling that POI a suspect for obvious reasons. He told us they are very disappointed that the photos did not yield more specific information (weight, shoe size, gender, etc) and are counting heavily on the forensics evidence lifted from Jen's car. Even with a "rush" placed on the results .. it still takes valuable time.

From the news clips - LE stated that many folks are now speculating that the POI is a female because of the height being 5'3" - 5'5". He warned the public against quickly jumping to that assumption and ruling out a male of that same stature. (Personally, I think the POI may very well be a deeply involved female accomplice - but, who knows?)

There have been 3 very recent murders in the Orl. metro area (one in the same MetroWest vicinity) - so LE has had to pull some investigators off the Kesse case temporarily to handle the others.

Drew Kesse said he was assured that Jen's case would not be "back-burnered". He was close to 'gleeful' that the height of the POI had been determined and again encouraged that person to come forward. Paraphrasing here - Joyce Kesse said to do it now while they still have 'options' or before deals run out.

Side note: The info regarding Jennifer filling her car with gas in Lauderdale prior to her return to Orlando (credit card verification) and the 'half full' gas tank was published in the paper & on the TV news several days ago.

Ooh, ooh, I want to play!!

The guy in the picture is Latino, about 17-24, going by body type, hairstyle, and the way he dresses.
Here's a picture of the haircut I think he has.
http://www.geocities.com/RodeoDrive/3696/Photos_bo.html

He's pretty skinny--look how the sleeve fits him. I doubt he did this--that's what the police meant when they said, 'It's time to distance yourself from the person who did it.' He was just recruited to ditch the car.

It does look like he's wearing restaurant pants--the way they go in at the ankle, and how flimsy the fabric is. http://gallery.bcentral.com/GID3853788P3147247-Restaurant-Chef-Uniforms/Chef-Central/Chef-Pants/Basic-Baggy-Chef-Pants-w-3-waist.aspx
A busboy, dishwasher, or delivery person would wear them. Ditto the cheap ankle shoe / boots. (Look how thin they are, and how easily they bend--these aren't Timberlands or construction worker boots. Closer to Reebok knockoffs.)

Just one other thing. FedEx cutoff is around 7PM. If you don't get a package in by then, you might as well wait until the next day to send it, because it isn't going to make any difference.

Isn't Christopher Marlowe a tv or book detective? I agree with T-Rex the person is hispanic, definitely male, skinny, look at the feet and walk, he's male and he has the haircut T-Rex posted or is wearing a beret with close shaven hair. I lean towards a uniform too. I don't think the profiler message is very accurate either because he is basing a suspect on what he thinks happened and what stood out to me was him saying a white male and the age and size range. That's a standard assumption made frequently by fbi profiler types when it's a white woman in this type of case so I just don't put much confidence in that because it's a stereotype guess.

There are two phones missing, correct? Anybody else know what else was taken from the car?

i read somewhere that the police gave the car back to the parents, and the parents gave the car back to the dealership...then the police came out with the news that there was evidence collected from the car..

could it be blood, bodily fluids? It is kinda strange that they gave her car away...what if she comes back or they find her? I guess they're assuming she's not alive any more..

Is it just me? I cannot see anything you've pointed out in these photos. I keep re-reading the posts to see if I missed anything. I still can't find the face, I don't understand how you could read the envelope, etc. I am not questioning your ability at all. I think you're clever and you are contributing unique information. But what am I missing? I am very observant and capable of using PSP, but I just don't see what you're seeing. Am I the only one? I really really want to see what you're finding. I feel like I am looking at one of those 3D pictures and the image is just going to pop out at me.

I thought it was a bit strange that her parents gave the car away so quickly too. I guess I'd be afraid LE would need it again for some reason. However, I'm sure they probably feel that the car is just totally tainted now, and if Jennifer is found and is OK, they'd probably want to get her a new one. That car would just be a constant reminder of what happened.

Christopher Marlowe was a Renaissance English poet and playwright.
Phillip Marlowe is the name of the book detective (Raymond Chandler). Close though! I thought the same thing and had to look it up.

Hi, I'm new here and have tried to view all the posts so I don't cover old ground.
I'm wondering if LE has covered any Shiner's or other car washes in the area of Jennifer's condo? Anyone over age 5 who has seen any "law and order" type TV show would know that forensics can grab fibers and hairs.
Makes me wonder if the person who grabbed Jennifer tried to give the car a quick once-over. I know some car washes have cameras ... isn't that how they got Carlie Brucia's murderer in Sarasota? A camera captured him grabbing her arm as she crossed the parking lot.
Just a thought...

There is also a Christopher Marlowe who lives in Winter Garden which is about 20 miles from Jennifer's condo.

I'm glad it's not just me! I'm sure they're there, but I just don't see them I guess!

I just got back from vacation in the Tampa, FL area and I saw a missing poster on Jennifer Kesse in a bathroom on my trip. I don't know why I'm posting this other than seeing it in person was just so sad and really affected me more personally than seeing them on the internet.

It was announced on the 5:30 evening news that LE has scaled back on the Kesse investigation. It will not be classified as "a cold case' but officers are being reassigned to other pressing criminal investigations.

Did anyone bring the post by Marlowe to LE's attention?
