I agree when it comes to the local FedEx storefronts & drop-off boxes. However - if one chooses to drive out to FedEx's main terminal out at the Orl. International Airport off Tradeport Drive - you can go late in the evening and still get your package out that same night or at 6 am.

Jen's condo at Mosaic was about 14 miles from the main FedEx facility & the late night central P.O. which also accepts FedEx packages.

I'm still reading trying to catch up but trying to see how tall Jennifer was if anyone knows.

If they have that video of a "person" walking past and they can't tell if that person is male or female, have they ruled out that it could be Jennifer? She might have been taller...they said 5'3 to 5'4.

The hair is pulled up but i'm sure the FBI and police have ruled it out being her but when they said they can't tell if its male/female it made me wonder.

Is it just me? I cannot see anything you've pointed out in these photos. I keep re-reading the posts to see if I missed anything. I still can't find the face, I don't understand how you could read the envelope, etc. I am not questioning your ability at all. I think you're clever and you are contributing unique information. But what am I missing? I am very observant and capable of using PSP, but I just don't see what you're seeing. Am I the only one? I really really want to see what you're finding. I feel like I am looking at one of those 3D pictures and the image is just going to pop out at me.

Have you used the negative settings with psp? Then lighten, start using the paint brush, and watch the outlines begin to appear. I was wondering when someone else would start looking at this stuff with me.

There is also a Christopher Marlowe who lives in Winter Garden which is about 20 miles from Jennifer's condo.

Has anyone here ever watched a surveilance camera? The ones I have see with two cameras jump from one camera image to the other and then back. At the speed thats done if you only have one monitor with one tape it would be difficult to catch one image without the other show too. I am rambling, but is it easy to freeze frame and not be catching other images when you do.
And the big And, when you reuse a video tape, will the old images sometimes show through along with the new images. I know I have had that happen when taping a tv show with a used tape. I had parade images mix in with my movie.
Any experience with any of these tape oddities?

So, are they, OPD, strapped for funds and man-power? I was wondering after reading the last report published where it stated they had to work on other cases due to the caseloads, but Jennifer's case wasn't considered a 'cold case'.

Why aren't they activly searching for Jen's body, incase she was killed?
LE never let up on looking for Laci, or Danielle van Dam. Maybe they have to have the killer first, before further searches, is that the way?

I think they have hung their hat on the poi person, and nothing appears to be happening there so far.

One article stated, evidence: 1. Someone else drove her car 2. pic of poi and their height 3. Car is crime scene 4. releasing pics of Jen's Chevy Malibu-hoping for someone to identify seeing it while someone was driving the car.

Nothing seems new here.

Well, I finally see something, that I know I can't read, but better equipment will be able too. That package/letter has an address on it. I can read the word FROM. and the word TO
I printed it out. Looked like capital ? small letters t or ll Last J or Y or G cursive,a e, i, o, or u, then y or g. Just example. "Russell Gray or Jay" "Worrell Jay" , You probably won't be able to see this, put the general place to look.

Who is Tara Grinstead?

She is a sister, a daughter, a teacher, a friend, a confidante, a coworker, a neighbor.

Tara teaches 11th and 9th grade History at Irwin County High School in Ocilla, GA. She is loved, respected and sorely missed by the students, her coworkers and the entire Irwin County community.

Ask anyone who knows her and you will be told ~ Tara is an amazing young woman. She lives and teaches in Ocilla, GA at Irwin County High School. She is a former Miss Tifton and is very active in supporting pageantry in the area.

Could there be a connection here? Someone also mentioned there was a street near where Jennifer's car had been found, named Ocilla.

Beyond, you should share your info and what you see in the picture of the poi with LE---hey just see what they think eh?

i saw her parents yesterday on CC on CTV and have just read through this entire thread. my hats off to everyone who has contributed! esp. 13th juror and beyond belief!!

now that the car is considered a "crime scene" i sure hope it is back in the hands of LE and not for sale on some lot!

my prayers for the family. i am afraid this will not have a happy ending for them.

I seen her family on TV yesterday and this is the first I have really paid attention to this case, I am so sad for her family. I wonder what in the heck happened, and her poor parents are so hopeful and think she i will come home. I hope they are right.

I agree - nothing new on the investigation - at least not reported. The car & POI are the 2 main points LE has to focus on.

There was a 9 second blip on WKMG 5:30 om news - simply stating that they (LE) continue to receive leads regarding Jennifer Kesse's whereabouts and are still following them. Her disappearance is into it's 5th week.

The anchor switched to reporting on 2 other missing young women and their devastated families. I was appalled to hear that there are currently 2700 missing people just in Orange County alone. Staggering number for just one county.

As for your question, LaMer, about the manpower & financial resources of the local LE departments (Orl. Police & Orange Co. Sheriff's Dept.) - major dollars and a ton of overtime pay has been expended on the Kesse case. I heard some numbers about 2 weeks ago that were astounding and it's probably doubled that by now.

As I mentioned above - there are 2700 missing people with "open file cases" - not to mention the recent rash of several unrelated murders to add to the carjackings, robberies, rapes, domestic violence calls, road rage incidents, break-ins, etc. (And this weekend a big neo-nazi group is marching in downtown Orlando. <groan>)

The film story at 6 pm focused on other young women living in the same Mosaic complex who are nervous & uncomfortable living there. Numerous complaints about cat calls & unwanted attention from 'transient workers' - some of whom also live there. Several single female residents said they are moving out. One man from Wisconsin drove down here to move his daughter immediately OUT of Mosaic and bring her home.

Some of the original "Traditions apartments" are still rental units while others have already been converted to 'Mosaic ownership condos'.

They spoke again of the "false sense of security" of having a gate at the entrance but not fenced or walled all the way around the complex. Also how much bad PR the complex has received in the media from it's total lack of security.

It was reported that the FBI came in to the investigation to help with certain forensics - but that 'missing people' are not their job or focus. Basically - keeping the investigation & public/media interest alive is the job of the Kesse family & local LE.


As a side note - I did deliver the printed out 'Christopher Marlowe post' to both LE agencies working on the case. Others must have had the same idea because LE had received several calls & copies of that post. Needless to say - they didn't share with me if it held any weight or merit with them. But, they did thank me for caring & sharing it.

That was the most interesting aspect imo of that tip because sometimes they will insert themselves in a case, otherwise I think he was just profiling a suspect to fit his theory of what happened. They may use some of the info he gave to look into things he suggested if they haven't already like forensics in the empty units, laundy facilities, etc.

LaMer, was wondering since you posted the info about those psychics if you are familar with that board and the one psychic in particular that mentioned the area, she may even have a blog or website but was curious about when she first stated it, the date in relation to BeyondBeliefs pic and mention of Tipton as the possible address on that envelope? From what I read (very little) of her she sounds like a phoney to me but if it was my daughter missing I'd give anyone a listen. I don't think it's a good idea just my opinion though when people like this insert themselves into a case and possibly supply bogus leads tying up resources and justify it by saying to themselves well they have nothing else to go on which isn't always true. If there's a large reward then I'm even more skeptical.

LE say that they think the POI was there at the gate about the same time Jennifer's car was taken to that parking lot. How do they know when her car was placed in the parking lot? I know the gal that almost hit it said she hadn't noticed it parked there before she almost hit it but maybe she just didn't notice it there. LE seem pretty sure that the POI might know something though. Are they just going by the first time someone saw her car?

I wonder if LE had the dogs smell a piece of clothing that Jennifer had worn to see if it found a trail to follow? Sounds like the dog followed the scent of the person who last drove Jennifer's car....back to her condo parking lot. Probably back to his/her own car there.

Jennifer's car was gone for approx two days before it was found in that parking lot. Whoever...could have taken her anywhere with that much time to play with.

WESH Newscast after the Olympics coverage ...

Today (Thursday) the Kesse family received the break they'd been waiting & hoping for - but, it turned out to be a complete hoax.

It's been a really difficult rollercoaster ride for the Kesses. Someone contacted the family 'directly' with very promising information. Unfortunately it was 'bogus' further devastating both of them.

The reporter stated that the Kesses were so crushed by this false lead that they cloistered themselves in Jennifer's apartment and declined & cancelled all on-camera interviews they had scheduled for today. Kesses reportedly said they would pick themselves up and start all over again tomorrow on their search for Jennifer.

While at Mosaic - the reporter also did a film story on Ashley Almquist - the young woman I mentioned in my earlier post - who lived on the floor above Jennifer and is currently moving back to Green Bay, WI with the help of her father. Both she & her parents are too unnerved for Ashley to stay.
