I'm not sure I saw this mentioned in this forum, but if anyone has been reading the live forum linked from jenniferkesse.com, which is someoneismissing.com there is a post made on Friday that could be important. I will not link the actual post here, because it's a register to read site, but the content is copied below. What is strange is the OP never returned to answer questions as to whether he's contacted police about this. I did post a general question today asking if anyone knew if he'd reported, and I guess there was email contact where he said he called it in but noone got back to him. Frustrating if that's the case. If true, I think it needs to be looked into.

Posted: Fri Feb 24, 2006 12:47 am Post subject: were the apartments where the car was found searched???

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I thought about this as I reflected on that morning the car was found. I was there at the condo complex doing business with one of the owners. As I was in the parking lot on the west side I noticed a young hispanic-looking male wearing white paint pants acting strangely and walking around the parking lot. He was not going to or from a car or truck, but walking around, seeming to be looking for someone. At the time I didn't know the police were on the other side of the complex with there tape around the car. After I saw the police and found out what they were doing, I drove back to that parking lot where I saw him and he was gone.

I have wondered often what he was doing there. I imagine that maybe he was trying to find a way out of there. Maybe after he parked the car he went to his apartment, then when he saw the police, tried to escape on foot.

'young hispanic male' that is what I figured from the POI pictures. But wasnt the car found days later? I can't remember exactly but if the car was found a few days later why would the guy still be in the parking lot lookng for an escape?

A painter would fit well with what we know and he'd have a van, access to the empty units as well. Sometimes these places have maintenance staff that does the painting as well as hiring outside contractors. Both condo's and the apts. where the car was found need to check the empty units. Most likely he did walk back from where he left the car.

As for the poi I went to the site LaMer posted and looked at those pics, look at the head again we might be wrong about that hat. It looked more like a beret to me before but now I am seeing what looks like a roll right above where the ears would be and then flatter towards the top. Fila is a good guess for a brand embellishment on the hat another thought that occurred to me is the concert and band merchandise sold at concerts, etc. popular with the young people.

Using the magic wand which outlines images, the photos show exactly what we are seeing, full pants legs etc.
Deep into the night last night, which I don't usually feel credible, I think the writting said.
Under the gate lock pix 2.

No pay or display
R J or Roby
East (very clear) 197
City

York (big maybe)
Big Red square type mark next to that. Maybe not red, but showed up red when colorized.

Probably just scribbling, but will look at it further.
Adobe is more difficult than I thought, but much better.

wow those are really informative pictures... heartbreaking to see the inside of her apartment and her work clothes from the day before laid out.

If that really is a FedEx envelope on the desk...then what does that mean?

Then thing i'm the most confused about is her car being parked only a mile away from her condo...it was parked at a neighboring apt. complex, correct?

If someone took her and her car, you would think they would leave her car far away from the scene of the crime...

i wonder if there was any reason for her to go to that complex that morning, and she actually drove her car there, and something happened on that property?

Identifying the brand of envelope might show how Jennifer was planning to send the cell phone back to the brother's friend. I'd be pretty surprised if she already had FedEx supplies around the house though.

About the car -- I agree that if the perpetrator had attacked Jennifer in her car, you would think that he would drive it far away. However, if the crime occurred before she got to the car, perhaps the car was moved only to throw investigators off the track and have them searching for the car rather than focusing on the gounds of her condo complex.

I wonder if there were any unusual (meaning not belonging there) cars/vehicles parked in the general area from the time Jennifer went missing until her car was discovered. The perp. may have parked Jennifer's car where it was found because it was within walking distance to his/her own vehicle.

Some people would notice a "strange" vehicle being parked in a lot for any length of time.

Pellerin is a white male with a muscular build. He was last seen wearing blue baggy shorts with white or tan pockets, no shirt, and high-top black converse sneakers.

His tattoo of the Grim Reaper bears the words "Shadow Hills." Police think he lived in the mobile home park near North Chickasaw Trail and East Colonial Drive before moving to the woods.

BeyondBelief, can you use those pics from the website to get anything better than the original you started working with?

  • #390
Of the POI?

  • #391
yeah, I was just wondering if that website had better pics posted for you to work with as opposed to what you originally started out with?

Search party is being formed on Americana and Texas Ave at the Winn Dixie parking lot, this Saturday 3/4/06.

Child Watch is organizing a childrens ID program and it is believed that the Kesse family will be there as well. They are encouraging people to come and volunteer for the day. It starts at 10AM until ? There will be flyers etc. http://jenniferkesse.org has photos and a link to http://jenniferkesse.com which has downloadable flyers. You can also sign up for future searches on http://jenniferkesse.org. We can't loose hope, just because it's not on the news, doesn't mean the police are not working tirelessly on this case. The Kesse family needs everyone's help.
