Its amazing how deeply involved some of you have gotten with every intricate detail of this case. Some of you guys seem like you actually must friends or family of Jennifer to keep this up with such vigor.
Why do you think it is that most of the other cases like Chanel Petro Nixon are not receiving the same amount of posts and interest on this board that Jennifer Kesse is?
I don't know JK either and live on the other side of the country. It helps when shows like Dateline have her story on there. Nowadays there is no discussion on JK's disappearance except here on websleuths. Anyways, there's only a few of us for the most part talking about this and from time to time somebody else comes in (like UK) to give lots of interesting viewpoints. I'm interested in a lot of other missing person's cases but this one has the most discussion I've seen and everyone has really good viewpoints, I've completely changed my mind on certain things after reading stuff from myserty, leftcoast, UK, drumstick, and others.
The JK case is still somewhat recent compared to other missing person cases. It's getting cold though.
Also it's all about being noticed, something that draws you to that person, that stands out to you. Being a 24 year old guy, I certainly noticed JK because she's a damn fine looking woman. Not that I'm only interested in beautful missing persons but that's what caught my eye originally on the Dateline show. There were other missing persons profiled that episode but I remembered JK. There are so many missing person cases that I could never keep track of all them.
I also think the Lana Stempien case is VERY interesting. This was also on Dateline, in fact an entire episode was all about this one. The link you gave to that discussion has no talk on it. I will try and get some discussion over there on that one.
I think Lana's boyfriend Chuck killed Lana and he drove off to start a new life. So much to indicate this. It's obvious Lana KNEW boating procedure, her father taught her at a young age and she absolutely knew what she was doing in the water. There are certain things that point to foul play.
-why was the anchor not down on the boat? Lana was an experienced boater and the first rule is.....if you go off the boat and into the water, YOU PUT THE ANCHOR DOWN. Just common sense. What are you gonna do, let the boat sail away while you're frollocking in the ocean? Of course NOT!
-Why was Lana naked? Skinny dipping in that freezing water? No.
-why was the ladder up? Again if you go into the water, YOU KEEP THE LADDER DOWN SO YOU CAN GET BACK UP INTO THE DAMN BOAT. More common sense that even a dummy like me would know. Lana knew boating. That's what I always remember when I think of this mystery, she knew even as a little girl safety procedure when it came to boats and sailing. Her pop was an experienced sailor all his life and taught her at a young age.
-Why was her jewelry on????? She NEVER NEVER NEVER left her jewelry on when she went in the water. NEVER. Her prized watch and her ring were on her naked corpse when she was found.
-why was the GPS nob embedded in her shoe where it would be impossible for it to be there unless someone put it there or there was a serious struggle.
-why were there those odd thingies hanging off the back off the boat. I forget what they're called but it's for another boat to latch on to that one so people could move back and forth freely. Lana didn't have blue ones, she had white ones, yet those blue ones were hanging on her boat as it was stranded at sea with nobody on it.
-oh and her GPS system being tampered with and information being erased in the middle of the night after she was last heard from!? Yep. Information on certain parts of the boat's journey were deleted. Don't say that's not suspicious.
-Those young girls saw her boat and saw another boat speeding away from it. This was almost EXACTLY where Lana's body was found.
-Why was Chuck's body never found? Because he is alive somewhere under a new identity.
-Let's not forget Lana saying "If anything happens to me Chuck is the one to look at." Hmmmm that's not suspicious or anything is it? Geez.
-How about that man that saw Chuck hit Lana when he was driving past them one day?
-Lana's last communication was a phone call with another man. Chuck was a very jealous person. You connect the dots.
-Why was Lana's lungs filled with carbon monoxide? She had MINIMAL amount of alcohol in her system. The reason she had a lot of carbon monoxide is probably because she was thrown over the boat and she desperately tried to get back on near the ladder (which was up) and of course near the engine where she breathed in toxic fumes.
-How about Chuck's creepy parents? Why on Earth would they rush the process of him being declared dead? No parents would wanna do that. Of course these creeps know he is alive somewhere and want his old identity gone. Chuck's father is a lawyer and has major pull in the Michigan area. I believe the judge who waived the five year until declared dead rule has an inside thing going on with Chuck's jerkoff father.
-The detective Robin Sexton seemed piss poor too. Me thinks he's also in cahoots in this coverup. He didn't even take fingerprints in the cabin. His excuse was that it was raining so he couldn't. That makes sense for outside the boat, not on the inside. Yes there may have been water, but it wasn't flooded, plenty of areas to check for fingerprints and a possible crime scene.
-Why are Chuck's sleazy parents so uncooperative with Lana's poor family? They won't even let them go into the house Chuck and Lana shared!!!!!!!!!!!! Unreal. The truth is, though, they don't want Chuck's DNA to be taken at all. That's what I think. Also in some other residence Chuck and Lana stayed at, Lana's family had access and Chuck's family demanded they return irrelevant things such as a bottle of shampoo. Again DNA, they don't want any records of their killer son found.
I really feel for Lana's dad, you could see how much it affected him. She was Daddy's little girl. Also he was a lifetime boater and now he can't bear to go out in the water and sail. Understandable.
that's just what I think though. And you? What are your thoughts on the Lana Stempien/Chuck whats his name case?
