Are we not allowed to link the 'Help Find Lonzie Barton' FB page? I'm sure I've linked it previously. Sorry if I missed something. VERY Interesting comments on there by RB, under the article posted 17 hours ago

OMG indeed....

Why isnt the police or at least the news media picking up on the story and interviewing Lonzies real father and his mother? He seems to be involved as much as possible. I mean the accusations that are made and stuff? Find it surprising he hasnt been interviewed? Unless he has by police and we dont know?

Or story aint true maybe why? Im with the one who said I dont know what to believe anymore.

Why his car was there earlier in the day ..is the million dollar question for which we have no answer yet. And no preliminary hearing to look forward to to learn the answer to that. :moo:

It was left W/the engine running, so I'm guessing Eb and ? was hoping the car would be stolen. (IMO) Whatever happened to Lonzie, must've taken place earlier in the day! And most likely would've had the same details and scenario "someone stole our car w/the baby inside." But it wasn't stolen... Time for plan B. It would be interesting to view Lonna's behavior at work that night... Looking at her phone incessantly?

I do think in some way this was pre planned. I personally feel now that Lonzie was dead long before lonna went to work. Eb was probably hoping the car would get stolen with Lonzie in it. When that didn't happen he had to figure out somewhere to put Lonzie then after he disposed of him he took the car back to the same spot in hopes it would be stolen with the evidence inside. When that didn't work.. Call 911!

That reminds me of the Delano Wilson case where the Dad calls 911 to say he's been mugged and oh yea, they took the baby too...

You're right...and little Delano still hasn't been found. :(

IMO, your hypothesis is plausible until the last part because he called 911 right after he left the car in the same spot he had left it previously.

Because by that point he may have figured if no one stole it the first time they wouldn't the 2nd so he concocted the plan of reporting it stolen

Here's my problem with the supposition that Lonzie was dead before his mother went to work:

LL had the OPTION to go to work according to MSM reports. She did not have to show up or lose her job.
WRE was in a hurry to get things done before she got off work,WHY?
They would have had all the time they wanted to hide a crime and come up with a much better story than WRE gave (the stolen car and baby scenario) if she had not gone to work that night.

It just doesn't add up.

He was thinking on his feet. He made a lot of mistakes because he needed to have a plausible story before she got home. If she knew, her help hiding the crime would have made a lot more sense than her going to work. It would make more sense for her to stay with the 5 year old, keep her sleeping and unaware than for him to run around with a 5 year old, trying to cover up the mess he made.

There is no evidence that he was in a hurry to get things done before she got off work. Where did you get that from? Good point about why would he send Lonna to work & haul the 5 yr old around as he got rid of Lonzie. Unless Lonzie was disposed of before Lonna went to work. I've have always questioned how no one saw Lonzie between 1 or 2 and the time Lonna went to work. Maybe she stayed in the apt. with the 5 yr old while WRE disposed of Lonzie. The running back to the apt. wasn't because he was in a hurry, but to set an alibi for the roommate. This is all speculation & you could be right or I could be right or neither of us could be right.

I never said Lonna knew Lonzie was dead.. So if she did not know, she would have stayed with her daughter. For all we know, unknown to her Lonzie could have been dead in that trunk when she drove to work. EB could have made some BS story as to where Lonzie was. As we have seen he comes up with BS stories pretty easily..

Unfortunately the only one who knows the truth is EB and he's not talking.. At least the truth. It's so frustrating to sit here and try to figure out what happened because we really don't know and we don't know many hardcore facts of the case yet.

I don't believe WRE is the only one who knows what happened.

The only reason I don't believe that is because he would have thrown them under the bus by now. Either that Lonna knows and he won't throw her under the bus so he can use this over her head as a control tactic.. Like if she was to leave him he would say "fine then I'll tell them you were there" or whatever the case was.

If he throws L under the bus.... then Lonna will just confirm his involvement. If
they both shut up.... then I guess they think they're gonna skate. They're both complicit in my opinion !!
