Found Deceased FL - Madeline Soto, 13, Missing Child Alert, 13500 blk Town Loop Blvd, Orlando, 26 Feb 2024 *arrest* #14

I thought one of the more recent media dumps told us that she was slumped over, but her eyes were open and fixed, and that's how they knew she was dead. Am I misremembering this? Does anyone else remember this? JMO
Hello @Bounceycat,
I don't remember 'eyes open & fixed'; that information may very well be in the dumps I just do not recall those words; my recollections & recordings are:
February 26 2024 7:35 hours, observed, female (believed to be Maddie), visible in the front passenger seat, her head is visible tilted onto her left and her mouth was open; she was belted into the seat.
February 26 2024, 8:19 hours, the Lincoln is observed at front gate, SS interacted with Security Guard before gaining access to the complex; Maddie is in the same position as shown at 07:35; additionally, video collected from near the rental office which captured the roundabout showed the female believed to be Maddie in the same position as the previous video at 07:36
.
I also read 'slumped over the console'; in what appeared to be an unnatural position & Maddie's position did not change each time a camera recorded her.

Dear Maddie, I hope wherever you are you have no memory of your earthly existence.
#Justice will come Maddie - it will take time, but it will come.
MOO.

(excuse my ignorance. I've been trying to follow along when I can. Why did he need to "blow off steam"? Had he and Jen had a fight?

I think SS could have had an argument with JS, which helped in her decision to send Madeline and him upstairs so she could get some rest.
The only reason that SS told his parents that he went for a walk, was to claim that something happen to the victim in his absence, because when he returned, MS was dead. "Why did you go on a walk son?" he anticipated so he put that first as the whole reason for his leaving the house, plus he gets to say "I was just being my normal responsible self, going on a walk to blow off steam", instead of what? and then "look what I came home to, what was I suppose to do, I knew I would get blamed".
Did he ever actually go on a walk? I don't know, but I think LE would know if that was the case. I don't think he dared to leave the house after the murder, with her body still there, even if someone coming into the room was remote. MOO

That's news to me about her eyes. Just that she was slumped. Can't very well see the eyes of a slumped person IMO.

Pg 31 of 896 pg data dump:

In the surveillance footage, I observed a male wearing a red shirt leaving the complex in a 2010 silver Lincoln MKZ through the rear gate at 0750 hours with a female wearing a green sweater in the front seat. This person appeared to be sitting upright with her head slumped over to her left side.

Nothing about her eyes in the data dump. There are 16 mentions of the word "eyes" in the data dump, all about either his or her eye color. Nothing about them being open and fixed.

Am thinking the parents know more than they let on after watching their interview... Something just struck me as off but then alot of people involved in this have seemed off

especially after listening to this jailhouse call....CS attempt to shut down the conversation about WHERE SS's social security card was found that SS asked about....DS answers yes when asked if they found it. SS says he presumes they found it in the mouse toy box, and DS, 'I dont know, its in my, it was...." CS cuts DS off: CS: "I don't recall where it was but it wasn't there, but um..."

then, SS asks about his watch: no, its not been found. (dont know watch they are discussing).
DS says: there was no popcorn box.....and SS interjects and says the silver mouse toy.....CS ignores that and IMO 'pretends' to want to know why SS would want his card located.

why was CS attempting to avoid discussing where the SS card was found?

Yeah, because from what I can tell... the 2 locks on room #4 lock from the INSIDE, and not a keyed locked from the outside. I brought up upthread how that was likely to keep people from barging in on things that he didn't want seen/known, and not to make sure his stuff was safe when he wasn't in the room, or one of the locks would be keyed.

JS: claims she never went into Room #4 when Madeline was 'missing'. you would think a mother freaked about their daughter 'never making to school' would be tearing the house apart, looking for 'clues', anything...and knowing the last place she was overnite was in that room. her roommate claimed she went all through the house, looking, when she got the call from JS's sister. JS didnt bother. but yet she said there was a gun kept in that room.

which of course, originally, it was found in SS's car. when did it end up in Room #4 when the search was executed?

Supposedly never went in room #4. But knew damn well the gun was in that room unsecured.

ETA: adding link to parents jailhouse call where discussion occurs:
This 'human being SS', and I use the term loosely, is the most egomaniacal person I've ever had the displeasure of listening to. What an utter lying manipulator with a complete lack of self awareness.

It's sickening to listen to and I feel sorry that his parents are caught in the situation of having to deal with him. He needs more commissary money, HIS birthday was the crappiest one ever, um no...Madeline's was because she was murdered by you SS on her 13th birthday.

SS believes he will have the opportunity to be released some time in future? WTH? His Dad quickly added that he and Mrs. S will be long gone before that happens and there was absolutely no reaction from SS. None.

Gross, just utterly gross to listen to. I'm glad his attorney's advised him to stop making these recorded calls.

Disgusting. Remember JS also complained of having a bad birthday...

Is it just me or does anyone else think they aren’t actually discussing the named items? A social security card? A watch? A mouse toy box? Popcorn box? To me this sounds like code words for something else and CS isn’t comfortable speaking about these things even if they are using code. A social security card and a watch aren’t much use to SS where he is right now or where he is likely headed. So why the discussion? And why would talking about the location of where these items were found or might be located cause CS to change the subject?

If I were SS—ewwww! thank goodness I’m not—I’d be more concerned about items LE hadn’t found and maybe don’t know exist rather my SS card and a watch. Evidence of other victims, or possibly evidence of dealing in the sale of SA, or any other illegal activity. Right now CS and DS appear to be his only contacts outside of jail to secure anything he values or that is incriminating. I just keep thinking how several people mentioned SS seemed to have money to buy toys but no identifiable income. JMO

It sounded like code to me too.

I wondered what SS might have kept in the same location as his social security card. It was like he was trying to say, look on that drawer, Dad. You'll know what to do. Hide my "social security card", wink wink.

Maybe a stash of cash.

I'm thinking his father already found it, whatever it was.

I came to say the same thing
