I'm listening to to the latest phone calls that were released and I'm...confused. They all know they're being recorded. They have to know the calls are being released and making the news.

So are they all (Stephan and his parents) purposely having these phone calls for manipulative purposes? Are they attempting to control the narrative?

I can't makes sense on why they'd continue to have these seemingly incriminating conversations. I do not believe any of them are that naive.

I would bet money on it. Maybe not to control the narrative as much as plant more seeds.
In the last call he basically said Maddi may have overdosed, whether someone gave them to her or she took them herself. I lol find the exact quote) It baffles me how he didnt think her COD would be determined.

The judge presiding over Stephan Sterns' case in Florida was never, ever going to close the pre-trial proceedings to the public/media. It's not warranted. And it certainly wasn't going to happen in Florida. Just sayin'

The nerve of him to even ask. Mr photographer who has over (1700+3500) 5k pics of scam on his phone and Icloud, has the balls to ask for hearings closed to the media. What was his reason for having it closed? To protect the family or himself? I know himself but just wondering what reason he gave.

I agree, that mom is trying to have them look at other things, but dad not so much Dad almost sounded sarcastic when he said well if someone else is involved, they need to see justice too" I just didnt feel like dad was buying in as much as mom.

I am not an expert on bible teachings, but when I look up what does it mean to pray for deliverance. I found several websites that all say the same thing, praying to god to deliver you from evil surrounding you.

I think he'll be really surprised at the eventual part where you actually have to confess your sins for forgiveness. We'll see how "reformed" he is, then, cause I really don't see that happening. (Not bagging on Christianity, just hate fake jailhouse conversions.)

It does not even sound like you need to confess anything or that you deserve to be saved, but rather to be delivered is an expression of God's love, when you have faith. ( which might speak to his sudden interest in the Bible)

You wouldn't be stepping on my understanding, cause I am not very well-versed in this. I agree with what you said, I was just thinking, he's gonna skip that part. if there is a way to skip the confessing and forgiveness, he's gonna do that. Not to mention that it sounded like it's not even expected that you confess, it sounds like it's unconditional and that bugs me.

Its shocking how creative people can be about avoiding any responsibility, and finding something or someone to blame.
I still cant get over the fact that he claims to believe this was an accident, when there is an autopsy report. he said that he read it in these calls , (I should confirm he read it at the point of this call,)
