Does this mean if Sterns takes a plea deal, they won't need her and possibly be able to charge her also?

I think if they had anything they were able to charge her with, they would have done so already and worked with her in the process to have her "flip" on SS. IMO they wouldn't just let her have her freedom if she could be charged for a crime. Sadly, I just don't think there's a "there" there.

I haven't followed this case in a long time. I'm curious though, have LE ever given a statement as to why JS wasn't charged? From all I've read, it certainly seems as if she should have been. But the fact that she hasn't, is rather confusing.

To start with I think encouraging her daughter to share a bed with him is worthy of a charge .

Watching an older interview of his parents. They acknowledged his guilt after seeing more evidence, and admitted their son was chronic liar and gaslighter since he was a teen. Now makes me think their son pursued Jen because he really wanted access to the 7-8 year old daughter.

What was on that hard drive the father found probably tells a tale...was the plea deal to avoid exposing that history? Gaslighter even admits to his parents he was "sexualized" very young. Guess that is his pathetic excuse. And I do think Maddie was pregnant. That was the real reason he "snapped". That would have been really hard to explain.

Well yeah. I too have posted that I thought Maddie was the draw, and JS just came with the package. Doubt she would ever consider that because of course she was what/who he was interested in in her mind.

Didn't one of the roommates say that Jen and stef had quit having sex several months prior? And the whole thing with Jen telling Stef he better not run away with Maddie. Really wish the truth comes out.

Interesting. In the Idaho case, the time for victim impact statements will be at sentencing. It didn't happen at the hearing when Kohberger made his guilty plea.

I was assuming that would be the case for Sterns too. Guess not, and the family only had from Friday until Monday to prepare and be ready at the courthouse.

Will SS be sentenced on Monday too??

To be honest I now do not care whether SS has LWOP or the DP.
I do want JS to be charged and have to face trial .
