I think if they had anything they were able to charge her with, they would have done so already and worked with her in the process to have her "flip" on SS. IMO they wouldn't just let her have her freedom if she could be charged for a crime. Sadly, I just don't think there's a "there" there.Does this mean if Sterns takes a plea deal, they won't need her and possibly be able to charge her also?
I haven't followed this case in a long time. I'm curious though, have LE ever given a statement as to why JS wasn't charged? From all I've read, it certainly seems as if she should have been. But the fact that she hasn't, is rather confusing.I think if they had anything they were able to charge her with, they would have done so already and worked with her in the process to have her "flip" on SS. As we all are!!!I'm very curious who will show up for the hearing on Monday.
To start with I think encouraging her daughter to share a bed with him is worthy of a charge .What would you charge her with exactly?
Detectives and sleuths alike thought that Jenn Soto knew a whole lot more than she let on, but no one could prove it.
Watching an older interview of his parents. They acknowledged his guilt after seeing more evidence, and admitted their son was chronic liar and gaslighter since he was a teen. Now makes me think their son pursued Jen because he really wanted access to the 7-8 year old daughter. So am I. She facilitated him and must have known what was happening.
Steffy could prove it. Pimping her own child to keep a man around. What would you charge her with exactly?

Well yeah. I too have posted that I thought Maddie was the draw, and JS just came with the package. Doubt she would ever consider that because of course she was what/who he was interested in in her mind.Watching an older interview of his parents. Who is Steffy?Steffy could prove it. Pimping her own child to keep a man around.
Didn't one of the roommates say that Jen and stef had quit having sex several months prior? And the whole thing with Jen telling Stef he better not run away with Maddie. Really wish the truth comes out.Well yeah. I too have posted that I thought Maddie was the draw, and JS just came with the package. Stephen....Who is Steffy?
Oh, Stephan. Steffy sounds like a woman's name to me, hence me asking who it was.Stephen....
Interesting. In the Idaho case, the time for victim impact statements will be at sentencing. It didn't happen at the hearing when Kohberger made his guilty plea.WESH reported that Sterns’ Google Drive account had images and videos of him raping Soto starting when she was eight.
During the hearing on Monday, victim impact statements will be given by those who loved and cared about Soto and who have been greatly affected by her death and what the child endured, according to News 6

Madeline Soto’s Accused Murderer Expected to Plea Guilty During Monday’s Hearing
A plea hearing is set for Monday for the man accused of murdering and sexually abusing 13-year-old Madeline Soto. On Monday at the Oseceola County Courthouse at 1:30 pm, Stephan Sterns’s plea hearing begins. Reporter Gail Paschall-Brown with WESH 2 was told by a source that during Monday’s plea...www.crimeonline.com
It is a ridiculous abbreviation.Oh, Stephan. Steffy sounds like a woman's name to me, hence me asking who it was.

I too wondered if there was a "plot" twist coming up on Monday. It sure should be interesting! I need to get that on my calendar so I don't miss it!Possible twist coming?
Speculating that plea deal might include: LWOP instead of DP and SS has to disclose interactions with JS that facilitated his crimes....followed by, testify against JS should she be charged. MOO only but would be one way to tighten up any case against JS. Of course, SS would not represent the best of high veracity prosecution witnesses, irrespective of the benefit of the plea deal. MOO
Astounding that JS has not made her location and presence known otherwise, for somewhat more than a year. JMO
To be honest I now do not care whether SS has LWOP or the DP.Possible twist coming?

I was assuming that would be the case for Sterns too. Guess not, and the family only had from Friday until Monday to prepare and be ready at the courthouse.
Will SS be sentenced on Monday too??
