I am certainly not saying (I do not think this is the case - I think it has been dostorted moo) but remembering that all over the world woman who are being victimized by a partner, do do things in order to protect theselves.
She has child. From her world view in the moments I think she engaged inprotective mode. Any one who has been in that dynamic know calling the police results in nothing. The get a restraining order, (most batterers kill after this event).
Many woman and med who are controlled by a partner are afaid of them. The do effectivly control them.
Ths dude is a pathological lier. Ok she calls the FBI and says he is buying guns/ bullets. The FBI rushes over there. He has not broken any laws. SHe knows this.
THey have no reason to do anything, but give her their card, and tell her to call them, and leave. Now her and her child are alone, with him.
When asked what he is doing buying guns, he tells them he is liscenced to have own buy use guns. What can they do its not a crime.
So the notion that if she called anyone outcome would be different. Recall Elliot, mom called,they came, they talked, they left, and he went on his shooting spree.
Holmes Batman, his Dr notified LE , on more than one occassion. Seh convened the universities committee. The met. They threw him out of the school and he went to the Dark Knight.
Adam Lanza mom tried repeatildly (the guns in the house flat out stupid IMO) to get him help.
I think it is unconsious, for folks to beleive that IF X as a society we could have control and prevent events like this.
We are powerless.
Thus far they have not found this mass of stuff regfarding terrorism. he would have lied to them , they left, and before he left he proabably would have shot his kid,her, and hit the road for PUlse.
The have to be a whole host of reasons that we are unaware of that she has just not flat out been arrested.
The grandjury is nothing is but a politcal game. Its a way for authority figures to avoid public scrutinty, while making the public calm. They also know the media will go away shortly - the grand jury takes time......
This is the worst mass shooting in the nation. I think, that if these LE knew that she really particpated in this she would be in handcuffs.
