Imo stabbing usually means hatred. So COD will be very telling. If you in anyway deface, however small, anyone, especially your own children, that shows hatred and rage. It’s also a painful death. Any means of death on your own kids tho is awful.

And another point, staying in the house with bodies for weeks definitely show some kind of mental disfunction. Imo it wasn’t something that popped up overnight. All of these people that claimed he was “wonderful, friendly” etc, clearly did not know the real guy. I would bet he was harboring some long held, dark seeded mental issues along with PTSD from having to deal with his own mothers murder attempt as a child and everything that came after.

I can’t believe that even after the police announced that there were dead bodies found in the house the music tutor had the nerve to ask TT’s sister on social media if she should still show up at the house for the boys music lessons!? Is she really that desperate for money or just dense, nosy and heartless ! The poor Aunt/ SIL had to tell her she was sure no one would be there. How pathetic and sad.

Maybe that is why Meghan , I believe it was said, had liver problems! Slowly poisoned? I'm biting my tongue, I hope not.
That's what I think.... and it didn't work, or didn't work fast enough, so he went with a quicker method.

The boys feet (13) were mummified as noted in his prelim autopsy - and they all had putrafactive decomposition- I need to google that - mom was dressed in shirt and pants as was the 4 year old but the 13 year old had just underwear - curious about these different states - still reading
JMO
ETA ugh looks like 10-20 days for this stage of decomp to be noted

What does "mummified" mean in reference to a recent-ish death. I only know about Egyptian mummies, Peruvian sacrifices, creepy saints' bones in Canterbury Cathedral's crypt, and Ötzi.

Well that's interesting in regards to a window being open. That wouldn't line up with one of the boy's legs starting to mummify -- insects would be all over that room. I'm still trying to figure out that state of decomp with the electric being turned off when we were reaching temps in the 80s during that

Perhaps there were screens?

That means tissue that has dried out, like jerky. Normally dry and hot surroundings

Stages of Post-Mortem Changes in the Human Body

Mummification:
Mummification is the desiccation invariably occurring when the body has been in a dry environment without exposure to insect activity. This process results in a shriveled, brownish corpse whose shrunken, leathery skin is pulled tightly over the framework of the body. It is also characterized by brittle and torn skin. The process of mummification occurs naturally in hot, dry climates and is seen, for example, in bodies buried in the sand, for example, dessert environment. It may also occasionally happen in temperate regions, if conditions conducive to mummification are met locally. For example, new-born babies concealed after death may become mummified, mainly because of the very low levels of bacteria their bodies contain. Mummification of adults in temperate climates is rare but may be found in bodies that have lain concealed for long periods in places, such as cupboards or under floorboards, where there is circulation of dry air. Dehydration before death may contribute to the process of mummification.

This just makes things even odder.... How would corpses be mummified in Florida in winter? It's not exactly mummy-making climate. Definitely not dry. And the bodies don't seem to have been tightly isolated, e.g. under the floorboards.
Would wrapping a body tight create mummification?

Perhaps there were screens?

Bugs manage to get in, from my experience, screens or no screens. Somehow, cockroaches, moths, fruit flies, and scorpions have this figured out. Bring a bad orange, rotten ground beef, old mattress, or un-gutted fish indoors, and all kinds of hell can break loose...

She allegedly moved to Florida because of her health issues. They had been living there for two years. Her "health issues" have really never been substantiated, so we really don't know what her condition was. She was really into healthy living and cooking from scratch per obit, so perhaps she had a condition she was trying to rectify through diet and exercise.

Where'd you find this tidbit? I have seen screenshots of the teachers' texts in other forums, but they were clearly before the family was found.

The boy's leg described in this way has me baffled, particularly with the reports that the electric was off and our temps were 80+. They were in 2nd story rooms, heat rises.

Find interesting "Sometimes, the pressure is so great that the abdomen bursts open. Because this liquid is often bloody, its presence sometimes leads to a misdiagnosis of injury". Not saying that's necessarily the case with this one, but some cuts in some victims and not in another has me waiting on that official tox and cause of death.

Stages of Post-Mortem Changes in the Human Body

As the body enters the second week following death, the next phase of putrefaction, the black putrefaction or the purge phase starts, where cavities within the body are ruptured and the gases that haves been building up in the abdomen are released. The increased pressure on the abdomen produced by putrefactive gases leads to the ejection of faeces and urine. This pressure also leads to the expulsion of liquids from other body orifices, particularly from the mouth and nostrils. Sometimes, the pressure is so great that the abdomen bursts open. Because this liquid is often bloody, its presence sometimes leads to a misdiagnosis of injury. At this stage, the orifices as well as the organs may take on a foamy appearance as the gases mix with liquids internally. In the following weeks, the skin begins to darken to black, making identification even more difficult. The face becomes even more bloated and blackens as well.

The bruises I saw
Some surmise that the bruises to the back of hands were due to short hospital stay after his arrests when he admitted to taking an overdose of benedryl. Would line up with iv and blood-drawn areas.
The bruises were red and big and round and not b/b n not near the bandaid. I think it’s from something else. And IV goes in hand usually if they can’t access arm. There were many bruises and they were big.

The last long link with everything posted on here. True crime society. Still reading... and i believe she knew police were on scene at the site of dead bodies etc, tho I could be wrong. she said something to the effect of — in light of the new information, should I still show up to teach the boys? The SIL/aunt said “call Meg but I’m sure she won’t answer and I’m sure no one will be there.” This was in a string of responses to the info that police were on scene. My guess is tho she probably cared about the kids and was just curious about what SIL knew, but odd time/place to ask.

I wonder if he and Mom agreed on a murder/suicide pact and he didn’t go through with his part either purposeful or cause he chickened out or the amount of poison he took didn’t kill him? Then maybe he just sort of had a psychological break of some kind after explaining why he stayed in house with the bodies? JMO. I just can’t come up with ANY reason a person would stay in the home with the bodies.
That is my theory at the moment but of course waiting patiently on the tox reports!

Rat poison ingestion?

Rat poison ingestion?

Looks like he hit or banged into something hard. Maybe moving things around like mattresses etc. hit a wall or something. No, I don’t think he ingested rat poison or anything else.

That almost looks like before.

If a family is requesting the public’s help in finding a missing family you would not ask the family member requesting the public’s help if you can go over and tutor the missing kids. She herself said, “Given the unknown circumstances.”
