Are we sure this is a legit site out of the UK. Seems odd that 4 healthy people would not be able to overpower an umpaloompa like him. If the mom’s and one son’s clothes were still on, they was probably awake. Suffocating someone even in their sleep is extremely difficult. Also the boys were 11 n 13, probably taller than him at only 5’7. And why were the boys mattresses in his room. These r just rhetorical questions. Thanks for posting. And wow, if true, I guess there goes the mercy defense. It’s not like he wanted to peacefully put them out of their misery. If true, he must have had a lot of rage n hate for the whole family. Suffocating is also very risky. Any of them could have fought back, survived and/or retaliated.

Oh dear. I wonder how accurate Daily Mail sources are. This is a bombshell for sure if true. It's pretty hard work to suffocate 4 people. I actually wondered about smothering and if that can even be determined in an autopsy. You'd think Megan and younger son would have fought back, too. Unless they were drugged before.

Their source is of course, unnamed. If it turns out to be accurate, AT could have smothered them as they slept. If the kids each had their own bedrooms (I don't know that), they might not have heard what was happening in other bedrooms, if AT used a pillow or some other soft object that might "muffle" noises.

If this story is true, why did AT feel the "need" to stab Megan twice and Tyler once? Just to make sure they were dead? To me, that is a very violent way to make the determination they were dead. If the part of the story about Alek is true, then Alek was alive when his father stabbed him. It's hard to tell from this article if Alek died from the stab wound or if AT suffocated him. One stab wound on Alek. No noted injuries on little Zoe in the preliminary autopsy. She apparently wasn't stabbed. I think the little dog was stabbed to death as AT inflicted four stab wounds on the dog.

JMO, I think there was a lot of rage involved, whatever the truth turns out to be in terms of how he murdered them.

Yeah, I’m not sure this is the whole truth. The autopsy doesn’t note torn mouth or nasal tissues as you see with smothering, unless they were deeply asleep and a plastic bag was placed over the head. Perhaps the one child woke up.

From where I stand, I think he is the one who caused ALL of the problems. There might even be more messes that we don't know about yet. He is a monster.

Where did you see that the dog was stabbed 4 times? Yeah, if that’s true, rage n hate for sure. I wonder if he had some evil multiple personality or something. Some kids who suffer traumatic events followed by PTSD develop dissociative identity disorder.

He, like a lot of guys, can blame her and the kids for helping to put him in this financial hell hole. If it’s true the “home schooling” program was $10,000 per year per kid, that’s $80,000 just for the oldest kid alone so far for him, multiplied by 3. She didn’t work. The kids had private tutors, sports, etc. Maybe they all wanted to live in FL in a big home with pool and that house in CT had a lot of expensive upgrades. Maybe she charged up credit cards like a lot of women do and maybe he never said anything until he just burst with rage. Who knows. One thing I do know is a lot of guys get married, not realizing how expensive kids are, and later blame the wife and kids for their financial problems. I’ve seen it happen a lot. And if he suffocated them, that shows rage about something.

Another thing that can trigger rage in guys is if the wife threatens to leave and take the kids. If MT really was shocked by the multiple home n business evictions, and the massive debt total, maybe she threatened to divorce him and take kids.

Autopsy shows no contents found in MT’s stomach. No comments on contents of other 3 victims. Makes you wonder what time of day they were killed if there was nothing in her stomach and she and 2 of the kids had their day clothes on.

It appears to be related to the eviction, but I'm curious if the date on this was when it was actually delivered, or if the date was when the summons was created. And why, if both defendants are Tony and Megan, is it addressed to Megan only? Wouldn't a document like this have to be hand-delivered by either LE or officer of the court?

They each got a summons. Megan was removed as a defendant when she was found deceased.
