The Osceola County Clerk of the Circuit Court website has been updated with PDFs pertaining to the following items.
12/3/2021 MOTION IN LIMINE TO PROHIBIT REFERENCE TO "FEDERAL AGENTS"
AT’s legal team asks for reference to “federal agents” be prohibited in the event certain individuals (federal agents) are called as witnesses at the trial, since jurors may then readily ascertain that AT had pending federal charges at the time he was taken into custody. Instead, the team asks they simply be called “law enforcement officers”.
12/3/2021 MOTION IN LIMINE ON TRIAL PROCEDURES
AT’s legal team asks for the following three trial procedures.
1. No judicial qualification of witnesses as “experts” in the presence of jurors.
2. No mention of “Grand Jury” Indictment to venire persons or jurors.
3. No reading of the entire witness list by the Prosecutor to the venire panel.

AT’s legal team asks for individual and sequestered voir dire at his trial. The grounds for support are based on the fact that the case has received extensive pre-trial publicity.
