There is one update on the Osceola County Clerk of the Circuit Court website:
2/2/2022 NOTICE OF DISCOVERY (SUPPLEMENTAL)
According to the document, the State made the following available to the defense:
1. PGS. 725-735 | Amazon Receipts & Item Detail Reports
2. PG. 736 | Letter from Harbor Claims - re: Restitution P & Y Dordoy, LLC
As an FYI, according to the Osceola County Clerk of the Circuit Court website, there was an eviction case with P & Y Dordoy, LLC as the plaintiff and the Todts as defendants (2019 CC 004078 EV). The case was filed on 12/23/2019 (prior to the discovery of the murders) and the complaint (submitted on 12/22/2019), among other things, states that the Todts entered into a one-year lease with the plaintiff commencing May 1, 2019. Further, the Todts failed to pay monthly rent in the amount of $4,921 that was due on December 1, 2019. The plaintiff served the Todts with a three-day notice on December 15, 2019 to pay rent or give possession. The notice was posted on the premises in the tenant’s absence. A summons was emailed to the Todts’ attorney on 12/26/2019. On January 16, 2020, three days after the bodies were found, the plaintiff issued an ex parte emergency motion to enter and take possession of the premises, which was approved. The remainder of the eviction court activity is not relevant to the murders, but you can look it up in more detail on the court website if you are curious.
