Whaaaaat? DS2 is a meth head? I must have missed this! Please fill me in on this tidbit!
None of us have seen his test records, so no one knows what he is/is not using.
In my experience working with mandated clients (conservative numbers indicated that AT LEAST 80% are in trouble due to substance abuse/addiction) meth is the hardest drug to kick, next appears to me (REMEMBER, I AM RETIRED AND NO LONGER LICENSED, so this is just some fools opinion [and I'm too lazy to go look up the research]) methadone, then heroin. Of ALL drugs, legal included, of course tobacco is the most addictive.
Meth addicts in my experience, IIRC, seem to be thin (see videos), impulsive (see video of Dale knocking down the cameraman), lacking good judgment (see same cameraman video), pugnacious (someone can provide link to Dale's rap sheet), grandiose (body shots, attempt at acting career) and angry and blaming. This is remember, just my Jane Q Citizen's opinion; I didn't look it up in the DSM.
Meth addicts have been the ones that gave me some of my favorite quotes:
"If you think I'm going to continue giving that ***** my hard earned money so she can live for free in MY trailer and play with those 5 kids all day, you're crazy."
"Crazy is not hitting a woman who keeps nagging about where you've been. It wasn't even light yet."
"Of course I take meth. Why else would anyone dust?"
"It's not my fault the unit burned. The stupid owner built the f***ing shed out of wood."
Just my opinion, of course--and this opinion affects what I believe about the crime and who I believe is the perp and what course my research follows.
