The tech stated that the only way for a cell phone to "ping" is when there is a call or text made from a phone.. This is bs.. A phone pings regardless of whether it's being used or not and will continue to ping until a phone is powered off, batteries die or are removed..

LE stated that Michelle's Phone powered off at 8:08pm and the techie stated they couldn't know when it turned off and would only be a guesstimate by guessing the life of the battery.. All bs.. And irritating that this is a supposed tech expert.. Aarrgghh !!!
A non expert IMO, if this person was an expert, we are all in the wrong business. More than half of WS could go on TV and give a better expert opinion on pings and cell phones!

This is one definition of "pinging a cell phone", to shed some light..
When NG's guest mentions "triangulation" it is my understanding that is a comletly differnt process.

But like i said i havnt heard so maybe its been said allready that it was not her..

I wonder what LE knows to name him this way...we know he was the last to see her, officially anyway, and yet there are cases like Katelyn Markham, where her boyfriend appears to be the last one to see her, and has not been named a suspect after 3 months. Difference in LE, or perhaps this guy's past is playing into it? Or do they have proof he has lied about something? JMO Just wondering.

I think he was caught on camera driving Michelle's Hummer. JMOO

When the event occurred in May 1992, he was still 20, a minor. He didn't turn 21 until June 28, 1992. So maybe that's why his name is not given ...

Wonder if he was in the military at that time? Can they keep his name under wraps?

"If you could have avoided this Dale, if you had cooperated with the police and took a polygraph test when they asked you, you could have avoided a lot of stress," Stewart said. "So unfortunately, you brought this on yourself. We're not going to stop until we find out who did this."

Rooney said Smith "simply refused" to take a polygraph test when it was offered to him.

"Dale, honestly, if you're out there, honey, and you're listening to me, I have always said from day one--it's okay if couples fight," Stewart said. "If you made a mistake, it was just a second of, 'Oh, I lost my head,' or whatever and you didn't know what to do...our family needs to have Michelle home. We need to heal.

"This is a sad day, really, but I think it was inevitable," Stewart said.

Parker's sister also sent a message to Smith: "Help us," she said. "Help those kids. It's the mother of those kids. You loved her at one point."

Surely, he wasn't named a suspect because he didn't take a poly. They must have more on him.

Ok, so she drives up to the condo and he comes out and helps the kids get out of the car, and they run inside where Grandpa is waiting. Grandpa waves so Michelle sees the kids are with him. And her ex says " hey can you drop me off at Midas, I am getting an oil change." Sure, hop in, she says...as she texts her new bf, and then waits for her ex to get in the car with her.[ speculation alert]

Or he left his car at grandpa's and asked Michelle to drop him and the kids at grandpa's house. Kids stayed with Dale Sr. and Jr. got into a fight with Michelle.

All I can think is about the post re. Dale on a boat and an alligator in the background. You know what Im trying to get at.

Michelle Parker search: Mark NeJame now representing prime suspect Dale Smith

Dale Smith II, 40, the father of her 3-year-old twins, is the last person known to have seen her. The couple have a violent past.

Parker, 33, was last seen Nov. 17 driving her the twins to Smith's town house in Carter Glen Condominiums off Goldenrod Road.

Police Chief Paul Rooney today revealed that Smith would not take a lie-detector test as requested.

"We had to look at every aspect of the case before we could come out publicly and state that Mr. Smith is our primary focus," Rooney said.

"He is our primary suspect," Rooney added. "There are no other suspects that I am aware of as Orlando police chief."

Orlando lawyer Mark NeJame and his partner Rajan Joshi are representing Smith, NeJame told the Orlando Sentinel late Monday.
