:waitasec: Has this been posted ? I don't recall seeing it ?

snipped from : http://articles.orlandosentinel.com...264_1_santo-domingo-central-florida-survivors

SKC-SMITH, 26, Rose Boulevard, Orlando, died Tuesday, April 10, of a brain injury. Mrs. C-Smith was a personal trainer at <modsnip>. Born in Springfield, Mass., she moved to Central Florida in 2000. She was Roman Catholic. Survivors: husband, Dale Smith;

:waitasec: Was this THIS DS's wife ? It says Rose Boulevard, which is where the "raid" was ...

Also ... died from a "brain injury" ... that sounds "vague" IMO ...

:waitasec:

Now, that is a piece of interesting news...

Mod note:

Considering that a judge determined that LE cited what s/he considered to be probable cause to obtain the search warrant for Dale Sr.'s residence, we are going to okay the responsible sleuthing of Dale Jr. and Dale Sr.

So there is no misunderstanding - This does not mean they are suspects. LE had not named them as such or even POI.

However, we wouldn't be doing what we are meant to do here - sleuth - if we ignored what happened last night. Bottom line - it is clear that something is going on behind the scenes and we are just trying to get to the truth of what may have happened to Michelle.

Please don't go crazy and post irrelevant info. Just post info that could possibly shed light on what happened to Michelle.

As always, only MSM and news sources and anything you post as fact, please "link it up". The only FB we are permitting at this time is the FB started by Michelle's family.

Thanks!

Now I'm beginning to wonder about life insurance? Didn't even occur to me until now.

According to OC Public Records, Final Dissolution of his marriage was not until 01/27/2000. That sure would have been a quick turn around.

http://myclerk.myorangeclerk.com/CaseDetail.aspx?CaseID=351181

The dissolution of the previous marriage of DS went to court in December 1999 and ended officially in late January 2000. DS married again in February 2000, this time to Shannon Collins. This is all public knowledge and available for anyone who wants to check court records.

Is it OK to sleuth out the wife that passed away in 2001?

  • #89
No, that was for the previous marriage of a certain person, which went to court in December 1999, and ended officially in late January 2000. The party married again in February 2000. As did Shannon Collins. This is all public knowledge and available for anyone who wants to check court records. But we are NOT to investigate innocent parties, and everyone in this case is an innocent party. Everyone.

ETA: Sorry Cblewife. I see what you were saying. I'm so hyper about phrasing things properly, I misunderstood what you said. (I like WS--I want to stay here. KWIM?)

So does this mean there were two previous marriages?

There's more than one wife

Yes, one in 1997 and another in 2000. but I do not know the name of the woman he married in 1997 ... yet. Working on it.

I would rather know of criminal records for Dale, Sr. and Jr., more so then if Dale was married many times.

It is like anything else - she was his ex-wife. She is now deceased. If someone can determine that she died from natural causes, then it should be dropped immediately except for referring to her as Dale Jr.'s ex-wife (#1, etc..) dates of marriage, etc..

I'm not clear on what caused her head injury that eventually led to her death. Anyone?

She died of a brain injury according to her obituary. So it was not a natural cause of death. She was only 26 at the time.

Well, this much we can all be clear of... Whatever caused her death was never ruled criminal by LE... Now that doesn't mean LE didn't suspect it but apparently the Medical examiner didn't find enough proof to rule it a homicide....

So I agree it should be dropped from discussion, it's fine for a foot note of interest but it really has no bearing on the present case with MP.

She died of a brain injury according to her obituary.

I feel that's a very odd way of stating how someone died. Usually in an obit there is a bit of an explanation of what happened - accident, brain tumour etc.
So far, I haven't found any info on her death, but will keep looking.
