during the interview at 6:45 mark it said that he interviewed this guy but I'm not hearing a date/time exactly.

This footage was shot on Saturday morning and was just given to

It shows a man matching the description of Armando Caballero - person of interest in #MiyaMarcano case. The video shows the man park and walk into a nearby building and is carrying gloves and a blanket.
We compared the license plate to the car in that video to the license plate of the car towed away by law enforcement this afternoon in Seminole County... and they do match.

Omg I just saw the news about this poor girl and I’m so glad a thread was started.
I used to live right near there.
This is horrifying. He went into her apartment at 4:30 and she got off work at 5 so he was lying in wait for her?!?! I just don’t even want to imagine what she went through. So sick of this!!

If he’s responsible for her disappearance, hopefully they can pull GPS data from his phone or car.

They'll probably be able to pull info from the car, it doesn't look like a much older model to me. If there was a phone recovered when they found him, hopefully his phone pinged somewhere and they'll be able to find Miya.

Hoping she's alive. This is just awful and terrifying.

Since we know he was inside her apartment at 4:30 - what if he had stuff ready to block her bedroom door (dresser in position) and she goes in to change after work and he moves whatever to block that exit then he attacks her near the bed - she fights back - and he exits through the window with her? But then he has to be back onsite to be interviewed so when did OCSO arrive at the apartments? Could he have put her in the trunk of his car - then drove her somewhere ? The interview timeframe is important IMO to try and determine where he may have taken her - we know she’s not in her apartment or the apartment where he was found deceased- so where is she?

It’ll be interesting to see the date and time on that burglary arrest warrant. If it could have been served earlier, would he have been alive?

Friday, Sept. 24:

• 3 p.m. - This is the last time Caballero told deputies he saw Miya Marcano. Caballero worked as a maintenance worker at the Arden Villas apartments where Marcano lived and worked. He was not considered a person of interest when investigators first spoke to him, according to Mina.
• 4:30 p.m. - A maintenance master key fob was used to enter Miya’s apartment at Arden Villas apartments. Caballero was known to have access to a master key fob, according to investigators. This is 30 minutes before Marcano would end her shift at Arden Villas.
• 5 p.m. - This is when Marcano was last seen leaving her shift at the leasing office at Arden Villas, according to investigators.
• 10:30 p.m. - Marcano missed her flight home to Fort Lauderdale, according to her father.

Saturday, Sept. 25:

5:53 p.m. - The Orange County Sheriff’s Office released a missing person’s bulletin for Marcano.


Sunday, Sept. 26:

• 4:00 p.m. - News 6 sees helicopters flying over searching a wooded area behind Arden Villas Apartments.
• 6:00 p.m. - Marcano’s family gathers for a prayer vigil to bring the woman home.

Monday, Sept. 27:

• 10:23 a.m. - Seminole County deputies discover Armondo Caballero dead from an apparent suicide. Mina said deputies had been searching for Caballero through the weekend and had secured a warrant for his arrest on a burglary charge based on the information that a maintenance master key fob had been used to enter Marcano’s apartment.
• 1 p.m. - Mina postpones media briefing.
• 3 p.m. - Mina announced Caballero is dead. He adds that the search for Marcano continues. Caballero’s car is brought to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office to be searched for clues.

Marcano joined the Arden Villas Luxury Apartments staff in July to assist with student move-in efforts. The apartments provide off-campus housing about one mile from the University of Central Florida.

The apartment staff said in a statement on Monday that Marcano had last been seen in jeans, a black hoodie and a red T-shirt with a logo for Preiss Co., a company that manages student housing, including at the Arden Villas.

“We also ask that you continue to keep Miya’s friends and [family] in your thoughts and prayers as they continue to navigate this difficult situation,” the apartment building’s Facebook post stated.

Mina said on Monday. Caballero told those deputies that he had last seen Marcano around 3 p.m. on Friday.

Why couldn’t he take no for an answer? This man could have had some idea in his head that Miya was completely fascinated by him. So when that unrealistic fantasy was shattered, his likely low self esteem lashed out and refused to take No for answer. Now this became about his ego and sexual violence. I think he probably lost control, raped and strangled her on the bed. Seems like he would have had visible marks on him when he spoke to cops. Ormlooking at premeditation - he could have somehow incapacitated (stun gun?) her, took her out in the blanket, raped and murdered her elsewhere.

There are no new updates yet, but I wanted to say:

There is no way that Caballero couldn't have done something to Miya. She worked for the apartment complex and left around 5pm. He entered her apartment at 4:30pm - did he have a legit reason to enter? She was wearing work clothes so I feel like she definitely was heading back to her apartment.

Do we know if she actually made it to her apartment? Were there any cameras in the complex showing her walking or anything?

I'm hoping that now that he's committed suicide, they will find something either in his car or in his apartment to shows that he was responsible for her disappearance. Unfortunately, I don't think she's going to be found alive.
