Ok. So after watching that..HOW DID HE STILL HAVE A JOB THERE? Surely at least one of the girls besides Miya that had run-ins with him reported it. It was said that one or more of the other girls living in the complex came home to HIM SITTING ON THEIR COUCH...WHAT? Disturbing behavior on so many levels.

Westmaas said she also had an unsettling encounter Saturday night with the person of interest in Marcano’s disappearance, Armando Caballero.

“He said, ‘Are you looking for Miya?’ I said, ‘Who are you?’ He said, ‘I’m her maintenance guy. I heard you are looking for me,’” Westmaas said.

Police said Caballero worked in maintenance at the apartment complex where Marcano also worked at. They said he made romantic advances toward Marcano that were repeatedly denied.

“He was infatuated with her, he was in love with her,” said Caili Sue, Marcano’s cousin. “I don’t know the very specifics, but he was constantly texting her.”

Local 10 News obtained video that appears to show Cabellero and his car the morning after Mercano’s disappearance. Family members said the pink blanked he’s holding in the video belongs to Mercano.

I know this is from her aunt and obviously she is beyond stressed but just have to comment - he wasn’t in love with her… this is not love. He was inappropriately contacting her and she didn’t do anything wrong.

Miya Marcano’s uncle, Mark Marcano, coordinated the volunteer search inside the complex where Armando Caballero, a person of interest in the 19-year-old’s disappearance, was found dead of an apparent suicide on Monday.

“Somebody heard something, somebody seen something,” Mark Marcano said. “If you’ve seen something or heard something, just help right?”

“Think about if you were kidnapped, what would you want to do?” Mark Marcano said. “If your (hands) are tied to something in a room, you’re not going to be right next to the window so you got to listen for the faintest sounds. Say her name, knock on the door, and say her name.”

Investigators today revealed Armando Caballero was found hanging in garage at Sabal Club Apartments in Sabal Point (Seminole County). The person of interest in Miya Marcano's disappearance was inside a garage where maintenance stores paint. Workers found him Monday morning.

Same. Now it really makes me curious if anyone reported him for his behavior. If they did report him and nothing was done? Now there is a girl missing and potentially dead. That complex will be in some serious caca if it turns out girls were reporting him.

Eta: Sue told reporters that Caballero, 27, was constantly texting Marcano, and that he "made her uncomfortable."

Wasn't there was a similar case involving a leasing agent years ago? It makes me wonder why 'master key's and what not are even allowed, especially in housing like this. There has to be a better way. Ok I find the video filmed of him on Saturday really weird. Who is filming? Was it random or did LE already have an idea of who and was doing surveillance? It's strange that someone just happened to have their camera trained right on him exiting his car with potential evidence. I also read somewhere that Miya's family has said the pink blanket he is seen carrying was hers. I don't know for sure that that is fact and that they did say that but...what a coincidence...or not. IDK

I think she did know it was creepy and did tell others. As for reporting from her and others we don’t know. And we don’t know that it would have helped. I’ve had creepy behaviour in my past that I didn’t report for various reasons. What became of those people I don’t know…
The POI sounds good extremely predatory to me from that we’ve heard. Just MOO. We don’t know his past though.
To me this is a super scary case where literally IMO I feel at a loss as how to protect women from someone like this. It’s very sad and very scary.

If I’m scared and I’ve done something very wrong - I’m either gonna call 911, run home to family or a familiar remote area far enough away to give me time to think. I’d think he was very familiar with Lake Wales where he had his football glory days.
