A safety plan? A 357 Magnum would have been effective. Better yet, take the kids away...NO such thing as a 'safety plan'.. what is wrong with DCF?? How long do we as a nation put up with such a dysfunctional branch of government?

In order for me to know, know bone deep, soul deep, that that is what separates me from them, lets me sleep at night, is although my very gut reacts to it, I cannot dangle a person in front of a shark, a predator.

The temptation may be there, my RETRIBUTION side. But the fact that I deny that urge shows I am more human than those very predators. They justify what they do because it satisfies an urge.

That doesn't mean I don't feel the surge of that outrage though.

I live in FLorida and I totally agree with you. I am so very disgusted with the way DCF is handling things. I don't understand why you would even work that position if you don't even have common sense! Sorry I am just really upset at this. It's like this child's safety was not considered in the least. I dont even want to imagine what kind of trauma this poor child will go through. I hope these "family members" will be charged to the fullest extent and that these children get the live the rest of their lives with parents who will protect them!

Grandmom's husband and father of Mary Perry died this past August. He was 91. Grandmom is what? 60? Her "boyfriend" is ummmm 39? Not trying to age bash, but this is a little odd to me. Something else is going on here. In that residence.

Halveland has a business. Landscaping. I won't link as some of these people are on it. Basically what I took from it is and it's a guess that child #3 belongs to Perry and perhaps the two other kids were from previous relationships.

Hey, they put those earphones on their kid at either a race or a concert. The ones to filter out noise. Sooooooooo, you save your baby's hearing, but sacrifice your little girls life? You knowinlgy sacrifice your little girl up to two full grown men?

Please, Lord wherever this little girl is let her have some peace. Let her know when she cries for help a decent human being will come to her aid.

Time me out, but I'd like to slap that ugly off each one of their faces. Grandmom especially. It's difficult to know this kind of evil and disregard for children exists.

I hate the thoughts this case makes me have. This child could not even count on her grandmother for help? This is one of the more disgusting aspects of this case. I have a 12 yo grand-daughter and if she only knew one thing, it would be that she can count on my love, support, and protection in any situation. I would fight to the death for her and Heaven help anyone who tries to hurt her.

He and a second man were arrested earlier this month on charges of molesting the child.

The agency said someone reported that 51-year-old Robert Young was molesting the girl, but after thorough interviews, DCF said it didn't have any evidence to go on.

So not only did this RSO repeatedly molest this child but apparently the child's gramma's boyfriend had a go at her too.

And the Safetey Plan was put into effect because DCFS had received reports from someone this child was being molested by Young. And still they left both him and her in that house. This really makes me angrier than I have been in a long while.

DCF said it told the family that Young shouldn't be in the house with their children. DCF also had the parents and Young sign a "safety plan" agreeing Young wouldn't have unsupervised contact with the children.

In the months to follow, new reports surfaced.

We do not know that she isn't the one who called DCFS. Who then promptly went over and put a Safetey Plan in place :banghead: Problem solved.

She may very well have been the one who tried to initiate action. As to kicking him out, to go where, back to the little girl's house? I feel badly for his daughter. We have no idea what secret traumas she had as a child or what that must feel like to have this piece of humanity as a father. I applaud her at least for her honesty about him and her willingness to call it as she sees it rather than bury her head in the sand.

I cannot even imagine being raised by parents who didn't put their life on line to protect me. What on earth is going on in this world, it just gets sicker & sicker every single day. All the adults in this so called home & the entire DCF need to be prosecuted for this. OK but why was this RSO even living at the home in the first place? He's not biologically related to the family. Per this 2012 article:

Bet this sicko wasn't even paying rent in the traditional sense, he was probably giving them drugs as rent. Oh wait, here it is:

We've learned that income, was actually shopping sprees. Prosecutors say Young would take the family to Walmart in exchange for time with the little girl.

So instead of removing the child from the home until the RSO WHO IS NOT BIOLOGICALLY RELATED TO ANYONE is kicked out we just come up with a "safety plan." This is something else.

Sounds eerily similar to Audrii Cunningham. This little girl would be in her 20s right now, I believe. I hope she's OK.
