Has there ever been a formal retraction or correction from LE about the RSO whose name was on the MPR?
Since you seem very intuned what do you make of the comment from this story..
Andrew wasn't with Somer, her twin, and his other sister on their walk home from school. But later that night, he joined the frantic search.
"I walked around with a patrolling officer, and we told him what happened," Andrew said

Hi Kamille!

The nature of the case has also meant attention has been focused on sex offenders. One of those men, who worked on a renovation crew months earlier at a house near where Somer was last seen as she walked home, has been interviewed. Another, whose name was on the initial police report after a woman thought she spotted him near Orange Park, was in Texas. When he discovered he had incorrectly been mentioned in the case, he nervously went to authorities there to say he was not near Florida.
I hadn't read that article - TY for bringing it to my attention. At first glance, it seems that Andrew was referring to the night when his sister first went missing. It's confusing why he says "I walked around with a patrolling officer" and then he uses the plural pronoun "We told him what happened."
Who's "we"?
I also wonder if the "patrolling officer" was the one DT flagged down.
It's probably nothing, but since A wasn't with his siblings when his sister went missing, he's not considered a witness, so anything he relays is second-hand information that was told to him by others, which the "patrolling officer" wouldn't need, since it would have been in the incident report. IDK.
I haven't reviewed the MPR recently, so I don't remember if the info is on there, or if I read it in a news article, but I seem to recall DT saying she picked up her oldest son at the OPAA around 5ish. (Warning: I'm about to gets nit-picky with details!) Didn't she leave work around 4:20? If drive-time to home is about 30 minutes (maybe longer if there's rush hour traffic), and she picked up A at the park around 5:00, that doesn't leave a whole lot of time to search the park for Somer before flagging down a police car that just happened to be driving by. It's a BIG park!
Another conflicting detail that stands out to me, is that in an interview DT says she flagged down the officer down the street from the park (Gano and something - don't recall the cross street right now) and then they went to the park, where DT says that her son A was there looking, and then the video goes black.
So, which is it? Did she pick up her son from the park on her way home from work (as she stated), or did she send him there to look (as she also stated)?
Sorry to be so nit-picky with what seem to be minor details. But they just stand out to me.
I like things to be tidy and accurate, and when they're not, I question why.
ETA: Deciphering what kids say is tricky. They don't always explain things clearly. I'm not going to read too much into A's statements at this time.
I think it was Cheewawa that said she worked at the Jax office, she saw her there on a T.V. at that office or something like that.
She could have worked at both locations or transfered closer to home. Since she had lunch at home with SP I dont think she would have drive 25min to and 25min back if she worked in jacksonville
My computer got attacked when I pasted that link into my address bar. ETA: Maybe wasn't this site since I went there again and all was fine.
I also got one of those bogus "your pc is infected" malware things when I used that family watchdog site. Won't be using that link again.
On the MPR her work address is given as Jacksonville, not OP.
Some think she drove home to do drugs or have sex with SP, although that is only speculation.
If she lied about her work location, for whatever reason, that would raise red flags. Why lie about something so simple?
Does this make any sense? I thought the names listed on that report were of witnesses that LE actually talked to. So how is it that a woman in Florida thought she saw a RSO from Texas in the area and knew his name, birthdate, address, telephone number and place of employment? Or was all that info just put down when his name was run through the LE computer and that was the last info they had for him? How does she know him? Was that woman CS? Or did LE talk to someone without getting their name and some woman tried to provide it for them? Do we know if that RSO had an airtight alibi that he was in Texas on the day of the disappearance? That whole thing still sounds really fishy to me. Who is the mystery woman who gave them that name? Why would she know him and who might she be trying to cover for?

Deputy Hickey who wrote the MPR, states he searched Grove Park , however it looks like this happened after the interview. Yes, because he did not phone it in to the switchboard as a MP until 7 pm! OMG she would be long gone after 4 hrs. What were they all thinking or not.
