USPS Driver Charged After Allegedly Trying to Hit a 10-Year-Old Boy with His Truck

A USPS driver, 41-year-old William White, has been charged with aggravated assault after he allegedly tried to intentionally hit a 10-year-old boy with his vehicle after delivering a package to the incorrect address.

According to reports from WALA, WKRG and the Pensacola News Journal, 41-year-old William White has been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, petit theft and criminal mischief after he allegedly tried to run over a 10-year-old boy on Saturday, Dec. 27.

He could have simply followed the boy to see where he was going. Then he would have realized his mistaken assumption of theft, and be glad the boy correctly delivered the package. What a fool!

Well, I'd like to know how difficult was it for the USPS employee to deliver the package to the correct address in the first place?!! Fool may be an apt description -- but I'd say "idiot"!
