Jackson also called his girlfriend. Saw Toledo drive past, looked as if he was dressed for work.

When Jackson's mom got home (about an hour or hour and a half later), there were police all around. Jackson wanted to talk to police but was scared.

Jackson was home when Toledo was arrested, talked to police as soon as they arrested Toledo. Jackson's mom was present when officers interviewed Jackson. Jackson told officers where Yesenia's car was but didn't tell them about the dumpster.

 • #542
The second time Jackson spoke with officers he gave them the route he and Toledo took and also took them to the dumpsters.

 • #543
When asked if he had anything to do with the deaths of Yesenia or her children, Jackson replied "No."

Cross examination now.

So we've got LT telling police he slept in the car in the driveway until 7am. Then we've got his brother stating he showed up at his house at 5:30am and TJ saying he was out with LT after he tapped on his window at 6:11am. I'd say the clean up of the house and the disposal of the bodies happened between 1am and 5:30am.

I also think his brother is lying and that LT originally went there to ask for help moving the car.

Just starting to watch now, was LT's brother hidden from the camera? It appears that TJ is?

Mostly going over previous testimony.

Half of Toledo's brother's face was hidden from the camera. Jackson's face has not been hidden.

Lunch recess, will resume at 1:00 pm.

Did I hear correctly that both TJ and his mother thought it was a bad idea to talk to LE while LT was still out and not under arrest?

Chris Lasanta, #luistoledo's brother, is now on the stand. He says he has different father than Toledo.

He said they moved to Florida in 1995 when Toledo was in ninth grade and he was in tenth

Chris Lasanta said he and his brother Toledo drifted a part for about 10 years but then reconnected, would baby sit for Suarez and Toledo

"They were wonderful kids. I loved them," Chris Lasanta said of kids Toledo is accused of killing

In October 2013, Chris Lasanta said he talked to Toledo, who told him that Yessenia wanted to separate. He said Toledo was hurt, confused

Lasanta said he heard a knock on his door about 5:30 a.m in the morning. Lasanta lived about 15 minutes away in Sanford

Lasanta said Toledo said he needed to talk to me and that he found out Yessenia was having an affair.

Lasanta said he was telling Toledo to come inside. he said Toledo was upset and hurt. Toledo did not ask for help.

Lasanta said Toledo was wearing a gray shirt. But Lasanta told police he was wearing a black shirt. Prosecutor Mark Johnson reminds him

Lasanta then says Toledo was wearing a black shirt with grey pants

His brother says that LT made a specific trip at 5:30am to his house to "talk to him" about his marriage problems...ie. Yessenia wanted to separate (although he told the police he was asleep in his car in the driveway at this time). But then he states that he asked LT to come inside and LT chooses not to but is back home, 15 minutes away, by at least 6:10am and is figuring out who he can get to help move the car. Doesn't appear like he went to his brother's house to talk about his marital problems. But we are supposed to believe that he didn't ask his brother for help or tell him anything about the supposed fight he had with Yessenia where he "karate chopped her in the neck" and killed her? A fact he later admitted to police.

So hopefully the jury is catching on to all of the lies and discrepancies and I assume they are aware of the fact that LT did actually admit to killing YS during a heated argument. All they have to decide is if LT also killed the kids and disposed of them or if Tyshawn Jackson did? Should be a slam dunk. But we all know that isn't always the case.

Jeff Deen now to cross examine Toledo's brother, Chris Lasanta, who tells Deen that the marriage revolved around her.

Lasanta agrees with Deen that Suarez had "GPS"ed Toledo's phone. Says she wanted to know where he was

Deen "Is your brother scared of the woods" Lasanta said Toledo is not into the outdoors

. Deen asked Lasanta whether Toledo was sweaty , dirty or in a rage when he showed up at Lasanta's home at 5:30 am on Oct. 23, 2013

Lasanta says no Toledo was just hurt he found out his wife had been cheating on him

Lasanta seeming as much a defense witness as a prosecution witness

Redirect by Johnson. This was the only time Toledo showed up at his house at 5:30 a.m. Johnson asked. Lasanta agrees

Tyshawn Jackson, the neighbor who Toledo asked to follow him in Toledo's car while Toledo drove his wife's car is next up

Jackson said he heard Toledo tell someone at school that he was checking Suarez's phone. Deen asks for sidebar

Sidebar over. Will asking now about Oct. 22, 2013, "the day before everything changed" but now Judge Zambrano calls for morning break

Jackson back on stand Jackson says he snacks a lot in the middle of the night. typically wakes up in middle of night and eats bowl of cereal

Tyshawn Jackson says he never left his house on Oct. 22, 2013 and Oct. 23, 2013. Will says that changed around 6:11. Deen objects

Jackson says he heard a tap on his window. wondered who could it be . opened window saw #luistoledo at his window

Toledo was dressed in black and asked him to help him take his wife's car somewhere

Tyshawnn Jackson said he waited by Toledo's Saturn while Toledo went inside the house for 10 minutes. Suarez's Accord was in garage

Jackson noticed that Toledo's shoes had some dirt on them. Toledo was wearing boots

Jackson driving the silver Saturn followed Toledo in his wife's black Honda Accord

Jackson said he was following Toledo toward I-4, toward Sanford. He said he thought they were going to a relatives house but had no idea

Made left on 17-92 went over the bridge. It was farther than he expected to drive, ended up in Publix parking lot by Seminole State College

Jackson said as he pulled in Toledo was wiping down the door edgeof the wife's Honda and had a bottle of cleaner

Jackson said Toledo took out the trunk mat from the Honda and a plastic bag from the trunk

Jackson said at this point he was "freaking out" wondering how he would get out of the situation and get home

Toledo then put the trunk mat and bag in the back seat of the Saturn and asked Jackson to scoot over so Toledo could drive his SAturn

#luistoledo was behavving "I would say pretty suspicious," Jackson said. Deen objects. Zambrano overrules him

After police took Toledo away, Jackson told police where the Honda Accord was but did not tell them about the dumpster.

Deen now to cross examine Jackson

Deen asked Jackson: you were on probation back then for a felony. Jackson said yes. And agreed if he violated he could go to prison

Deen asked you were at Toledo's house alot and saw him taking care of the kids. Jackson said yes

Deen asked whether Suarez would be upset when she got home and saw them playing video games. He said yes

Deen asked if Toledo was dirty after Jackson went outside. Jackson said his boots were dirty. He wasn't sweaty? No, Jackson said

Jackson actually went pass Toledo and had to make a U-turn to find Toledo, so he lost site of Toledo before finding him in Publix lot

Deen how long did he wipe down the driver's door? Jackson said about 10 minutes. Deen questions: YOu want to think how long that is?

Deen said from statement to police I got the impression it was immediate. Jackson yes that's right. I was thinking a ballpark estimate

Jackson said he had never driven Toledo's car before.

Two or three minutes after Publix they were on 17-92 and Toledo looked over to him and said "I snapped."

Jackson said he didn't ask for specifics and just wanted to get home #luistoledo

Deen asking Jackson whether he told Perez twice that he had not seen Toledo. Jackson said just once

Jackson said he told his mom something suspicious was going on. His mother told him to wait because Toledo was still out. #luistoledo

Ty Jackson finished for the day but defense attorney Jeff Deen says he plans to call him back at later date.

Court is in recess for lunch.
