Totally get it. Our empty nest got filled with our daughter & her dorm stuff. Two of us are now juggling conference calls while our daughter does classes online on Zoom. In a small space. It’s really goofy. A bit like camping without the smores & fishing & hiking & fun. We tried going on family walks, but somehow not the same when you wave at other oncoming walkers- while veering to the far side of the road and rotating our heads lest a breeze waft some infected aerosols 30 feet across the street strait into our nostrils. It’s a weird world right now.
Daughter will graduate May 2021, but no clue how bad the job market will be by then. We may be “camping” way longer than planned. Maybe put small detached she-shed bedroom in backyard? Idk. Watching your posts,
@PayrollNerd, about your daughter’s situation. Tough time to be a new grad for sure. The graduating class of 2020 won’t even have a ceremony. They should at least be able to celebrate before being quarantined & unemployed!
