Now, how would tape fibers be adhered to the actual bone if the tape was over the skin that was decomposing?

This is one of the questions I've had. It doesn't make any sense. Not only that, if in fact (out of some bizarre circumstance) it remained stuck to the skull during decomp then why doesn't the adhesive in that part of the tape contain Caylee's DNA? Again, it doesn't make sense!

Kind of OT here, I'm reading GA deposition, and when he's trying to fill in the blanks with too many details, I can't help but think it's just a bad episode of Leave it to Beaver. He acted like this on the stand too, KC says something along the lines of, "Well Dad, I think such and such would be great!" and they go off skipping down the street.

But, as soon as you start asking him some hard questions (the gas can questions JB brought up during trial), he gets real upset. He starts accusing you of trying to confuse him, etc. Listening to him and JB during trial is almost an exact replica of him and JA. Crazy, don't you think?

Crazy, but by this point in the ordeal, I think GA was trying to save ICA's life. Create some confusion to save ICA, as JB probably told him. Acting like he just didn't recall, but he couldn't stray much from his original statements to police. I think JB told GA and CA that if they didn't start injecting some doubt and conflicting stories out there at trial, ICA may have been found guilty. Make sure the jury is left :waitasec: scratching their heads. If this was the DT technique, it worked to create a reasonable doubt for the jurors.
When I watched GA in the courtroom gallery, he seemed to be in a zone and unemotional. Maybe he just said to himself, I'm doing this for my daughter. Just check out of this whole situation and fall on the sword.

TS Fay comes through and body us under water ,in extreme heat ,for months.
The adhesive dissolves in the water over a period of time ,leaving the wet fibers exposed on the tapes/
Water recedes and as the fibers dry they attach to the ,now exposed skull.

We have a pool and I can totally relate.My kids leave their wet t-shirts and towels out in the concrete .When I pick them up days later,any loose threads will be stuck to the concrete.

no worries! I believe ya Dr G did day there were still some patches of adipocere. Even hair can bond to the skull. I was just making sure the tape wasn't adhered to the skull. That would be funny business.

Well since it was the way I see it reported, and I do not even think drowning was a possibility because I do not believe Caylee saw the sun come up the 16th ...
A-no way Caylee drowned 6/16
B- ICA is lazy she'd use the duct tape OR
drown her IN the house where no one could see her.
C- Drowning victims leach fluid like crazy the
tape would NEVER have stuck and probably not in the wet/moist hair
D- no way GA helped dispose of her body he manner in which Caylee was disposed of points to a woman.

AND if GA hadn't lied and placed Caylee in the home the morning of 6/16
he might not have been in the jurors hot seat.

I could lose my doubt and disagree with the jurors decision

Plus, what's the alternative? That the tape was placed on the skull there post-decomp? It would still have had to be months before recovery considering the condition of the tape and scene. Why would only that piece of tape be sticking when recovered? What would be the point of taping a skull at all? It makes no sense compared to the process you described.

I'm not joking when I say it's a replica of GA and JB.

Sounds like a good explanation, except, why did the tape continue to stick through TS Fay? Why not just float away?

Where can I see the neighbor's story? I'm engrossed in GA's deposition but I haven't found anything about a so-called fight. I did see where he claimed to have peeked in Casey's room and saw Caylee sleeping. Didn't recall if Casey was there or not. (wouldn't you find it odd that your granddaughter was asleep in your daughter's bed and she wasn't there?)

I also find retired detective Jerry Lyons statement to be pretty fascinating:

I've seriously thought there was something just not right with him from the beginning. He seems "creepy" IMO.

While looking through this deposition, I've discovered that when he lies he goes into great detail. Like, the gas can situation I posted prior, great detail of all the events. I think he lied about getting the cans from Casey. I think he lied about saying goodbye to them that day. Too many details.

The only reason the drowning theory
is even plausible is because they had a pool!
Caylee didn't drown, at least not on Monday.

J.Dickens and Jean Couty (neighbors) hear huge fight between CA and KC. Jean Couty was washing the car and saw the fight spill out into the front yard. Couty saw KC get in the car and drive off WITHOUT Caylee. In fact,Couty didn't see Caylee at all.

CA reports she only "heard" the girls sleeping through the door that morning before she went to work. She never actually saw them.

Interesting observation.

Something isn't right with him, or his reactions. I am still surprised, based on this, that the detectives didn't at least investigate him more at the time. He did claim to be the last person to see them both on that day.
