Revising to six locations and three shooters killed at the concert hall, five altogether, so two at the stadium, but not yet confirmed.

One of them stood outside the emergency exist of the Bataclan.

Several "deaths" at the stadium and

then up to 100 possibly at the carnage at the concert hall, the Bataclan, Rue Voltaire

Zwiebel? Has anyone heard from Zwiebs? I'm not sure if she is in Paris right now but I think she spends time there a lot (unless I'm thinking of someone else)

I remember someone on here's mum lived very close to the Charlie Hebdo attacks, they relayed what she was seeing. Anyone remember this?

Oh my, I hope we hear from Zwiebel and Waddles soon!

At least him or Ben would stop refugees coming here.

There are approximately 180 cities in the country that are eligible to accept some 10,000 Syrian refugees. In Louisiana, those cities include Metairie, Baton Rouge and Lafayette.

The Syrian refugees are first flown to the United States, with the State Department paying the International Organization for Migration for the airfare.

The people who attacked Paris tonight are the very people the refugees are trying to get away from. Who can blame them for that?

Let's just hope that Waddles is sipping on margaritas while watching a show in Vegas somewhere while on vacation.

But seriously. Hopefully all members abroad are safe. And r.i.p to the victims of this nightmare that God didn't want. These thu-gery individuals are using Gods name in these killings.

God did not create mankind to kill mankind. Jmo.

Dex, I want to bold, italicize and repeat your post a million times.

Has anything more been heard of the reported shootings at Les Halles and the Louvre? They seem to have dropped out of the news.

No, initially there was word that there was shooting in the area or at Le Halles, but nothing since about anyone killed in that area, so far.

I really appreciate so many members here posting info as it comes in; I have 4 tabs open as it is and there's no way I could cover all the news outlets.

And of course I also appreciate being among my friends here while this tragedy unfolds.

I know what you mean. It's great to have friends to talk to and share our grief. It's funny, when something happens in the world, I come here to find out the details.

#BREAKING Accomplices of Paris attackers may still be on the loose: prosecutor

I think it was reported earlier that there were 12 attackers. I'll see if I can find it...

Let me get this straight. Certain islamic governments will kill your daughters for having sex out of wedlock. Or allow your daughter to be owned by hubby. Or crucify your daughter after a rape.

But you still let them convince you that we are the enemy and you should kill yourself along with others to make God happy.

Maybe it's time to stop giving them money. Jmo

It has to stop. There has to be some kind of order. We do not know these people. But I guess Obama knows best when he said today-Obama: ISIS Is Not Getting 'Stronger,' We Have 'Contained' Them -

Attackers used pump-action shotguns.
Grenades thrown at theater crowd.

An American witness was very scared when shots rang out - about a dozen or so. Ran inside a building and stayed put for three hours before walking back to her hotel.
It seems she hasn't fully digested what she just witnessed. Very surreal.

At the Bataclan, four attackers/terrorists killed.

People on the sitting outside the restaurant on the terrace were being targeted by two terrorist with an AK and a "hand rifle" outside outside Le Belle Equipe on Rue Charonne. Authorities say the numbers may rise, as people are being treated at hospital. France24 reporter there described about 2 three minutes of shooting, ducking under the tables inside and a killed victim next to her when it ended.

Our thoughts, prayers and solidarity are with our many friends and family in Paris, in France, as well as Waddles and all those touched by these cruel acts of terror. May they all persevere.

Dear people in France , my deepest condolences for all of the precious lives lost !

People who were like myself and my family... busy going about their lives; and then cruelly murdered !
Sickening and vile.

Countries need to take a closer look at whom they are inviting inside ; thinking specifically of those who do not assimilate and those who seem to hate the U.S., and burn our flags... yet keep on living right in the good old U.S.A. that they despise so much.

I fear for the U.S., because I think these attacks are coming here.

As an American, I feel we should tighten our borders and start taking better care of our own.
But that may be a discussion for a different thread.
:moo:

It is what I did, too. I truly appreciate the family we have here at WS. We are all different in a million ways, but we all have a common core of justice, love and respect.
