Respectfully, I read Dex's post. Regarding female terrorists.
Mothers protecting their children during villages raids are not terrorists.

Exactly.

I simply said that female terrorist are minimum. So I if I had to distribute guns. It would be to females for the purpose of protection of village raids against the savage predators.

I also stated that I would only give refuge to women and children. Especially since the chances of them being all out terrorist are slim.

Jmo. But of course female terrorist do exist. But not at the alarming rate compared to the men.

So if I'm taking in refugees or passing out guns for protection of the village against isis. I Would prefer to let the women handle it since alot of the men are happy about harvesting young brides and whatever else. Jmo

I am so saddened that some Americans feel this way.
So glad I live in Canada. While an attack could certainly happen here, I don't know of anyone cowering in their basement.

WOW...just WOW. This leaves me kinda speechless.

With all due respect Snoopster (and I have much respect for our neighbors to the the North), the way you characterized this is completely off base, it appears that you may be confused or ill informed on this issue. Americans who utilize the 2nd Amendment are definitely not "cowering" anywhere. FWIW, we are a citizenry wherein the majority are equipped and ready to protect themselves, their family, their neighbor, their state and their nation when necessary while otherwise enjoying and living their life.

The sad thing about that, imo, is the terrorists know it and plan their attacks accordingly. They will go after and kill Americans in other ways and owning a gun won't make a difference. I mean that sincerely, btw, as I said earlier the terrorist mutate and stay one step ahead of us.

Honestly Bluesneakers, I respect your opinion, and I hope you will respect mine as well. FWIW Americans have been armed since the birth of their nation and has ZERO to do with terrorism. I think that the Constitution might be the best resource to learn about the right to bear arms. www.constitution.org

Totally agree with you...and I subsequently deleted that post a while ago, recognizing my inappropriate comments. My sincerest apologies.

Most humbly,

The first of the attackers behind the shooting and bombing rampage in Paris has been identified as 29-year-old French national Ismaël Omar Mostefaï.

French newspaper Le Monde reports Mostefaï was identified by his fingertip, found after he detonated a suicide vest inside the Bataclan concert hall as police closed in.

Mostefaï's brother and father have been detained by French police after contacting authorities in their hometown of Courcouronnes of their own volition.

Le Monde reports Mostefaï had minor convictions on his criminal record and was the father of a young daughter born in 2010.

I'm talking specifically about terrorism, not the 2nd Amendment. We've been discussing terrorism what happened in Paris. I'm not talking about the right to bear arms at all. My comment was only meant to say I think people who believe their guns will protect them from ISIS are naive.

Absolutely no apologies necessary Snoopster but thank you so much for taking the time to do so. :canada::hug:

Snip

Friday’s operation apparently began with a small extremist cell around Brussels, where French authorities believe the attack was planned and financed, according to two U.S. law enforcement officials who have been advised about the ongoing French probe.

The French newspaper Le Monde reported the terrorists came from the Brussels suburb of Molenbeek, which has been a center for radical Islamists for several years — it was the home of a man who was recently thwarted before he could carry out a passenger-train massacre in Belgium.

Hahaha you're funny.
Go to Sweden or the UK and you'll find out. I'm Swedish, have lived in the UK for 25 years.

I'm sorry, I don't see that as anything approximating a link or any form of substantiation. You made a strong, argumentative statement as if it were fact. I think many would prefer if you would please provide some substantiation rather than laughing off a request for it.

I see. My confusion arose from the you quoting and responding to my post regarding a discussion about armed Americans and their safety.

I apologize to you and the other posters for getting off topic :blushing:

Islamaphobia: People who fear Muslims because they can't understand the religion is not terrorism. It's a lot like xenophobia if you know what that is.

Indeed. Blaming these terrorist attacks on Muslims/Islam makes as much sense (or is as fair) as blaming the Holocaust on Christians or Christianity.
