I'm pretty concerned at the excuse the French cops gave for not finding the 4 yr old for several hours, I get that they wanted to preserve the crime scene for forensic investigators but surely checking the occupants of the vehicle for signs of life prior to that would take precedence. One or more of the other victims might just have been unconscious and could have been saved if gotten to a hospital quick enough.

Any idea of links for press conference?

NancyA.
I think the French police did check for signs of life and it was only after that that they sealed everything off..
There must have been a large amount of blood in the vehicle and the child was under her mothers legs so it may have been very difficult to spot the 4yr old...

From reports the car park where this happened has abit of a bad reputation for car break ins.if thats the case i wonder how many locals now have cctv fitted? and im sure with it being so popular there would be other cameras..
After the shooting i doubt whoever done this left the scene slowly so id hope they were driving so bad that someone reported there driving to the police.
Ok brains kicked in a wee bitty so sorry for the rambing lol...

I'm going to stick with my theory that this family was targeted for a specific reason and the children left alive.

If it was race or burglary, imo, the children would have suffered the same fate as their parents and grandma.

:moo:

I'm not getting mob hit or terrorist connections here, if the man were that 'connected' he would have been aware of threats to him and his family and wouldn't just be driving off on a camping holiday into the remote French countryside without taking security precautions. No, I'm getting robbers targeting tourists which apparently is a lucrative 'enterprise' for criminal gangs in that region, I think the father's ethnic origin/profession is just a red herring but one that will be big enough to muddy the 'conspiracy' waters for a time.

Now saying that the older girl has been shot in the shoulder.

  • #34
Im sorta heading that way in my thinking too NancyA..

Girl outside car beaten(beaten to force family to do something?)(also may be why front passenger seat was empty, girl was sat there),family inside car with doors locked(terrified),perps not getting what they want so they lose it,hit child again(prob with gun butt or similar),girl drops unconcious perps spray car with bullets?,cyclist turns up,perps still angry so shoot him?

  • #35
But the children werent kept alive,i think it was just pure luck that the girls survived.one girl beaten and other in car when family shot.

  • #36
If they were parked up having a rest, cuppa, picnic?, i could see one of the female adults sit in the back of the car so the girl could sit up front(then swap around again when leaving).
Also wonder if perps pulled up to passenger side and grabbed the first person available(the girl),dragged her out and father locks doors?.

Now saying that the Adult Male and Older Female in the car, and the Adult Male cyclist were killed by bullets to the head. Not saying about the Adult Female.

Body of Younger Adult Female still in car, not sure of order in which deaths occurred.

  • #38
Cannot confirm names, number plate has allowed Police to identify owner of car, and passport number of Adult Male.
Older Female holds a Swedish passport.
Oldest person in car was born in 1962.

  • #39
Theyve now found a Swiss and Iraqi passport,i think from the older female..

Again speculating but if youve got the families child outside of the car and are harming that child, the people in the car i think would be in the car pleading,in my mind i could see how it would then be easy to do head shots.

Me personally id like to think i would have been killed outside the car going to protect my child. But under the circumstancies knowone knows how they would react and i could easily see the family frozen with fear..

Did i hear that there is braking marks?,car park is at the dead end of that singleish track road.road rage and chased up to car park?
