One distinguishing aspect of the CDC is that they can attract crazies from both sides of the political spectrum:

- Right wing opposition to COVID policies (past news, but to extremists, its likely still current).

- Left wing and Right wing opposition to vaccine policies. One place where religious fundamentalists and trendy crunchies can meet and greet each as friends is opposition to school vaccination policies. CDC does not set these policies. But.... extremists don't care.

Yes. It will never not fascinate and depress me that the continuum of political beliefs is, eventually, a circle (or at least, a horseshoe-shape). The crazies on either end eventually go so far over the bend that they end up way over in the same extremist boat and ultimately behaving the exact same way as each other.

I am so very sad for the officer's family. What an absolutely pointless thing to die for. I hope they can take some comfort knowing that he protected others and likely saved lives in sacrificing his own.

Investigators say White fired toward multiple CDC buildings before entering the CVS store at Emory Point, where a gunfight took place on the second floor. It remains unclear whether White died from police gunfire or a self-inflicted wound.

Just down the street, the CVS remains closed “until further notice,” its glass doors shattered by bullets.

Absolutely, they have a legitimate complaint. The leadership at HHS and in the WH are putting innocent people’s lives at risk with the spreading of false information. It’s completely unnecessary and unacceptable. All for the purpose of scoring points on social media.

I have friends in Wyoming that did not get the shot, her parents refuse to see them since. Sister in law had to get it to have contact with grandson. Some ppl took it to extremes.
