Have jury deliberations started yet for the day?
Looks like they have. We are on Verdict Watch again.
Law & Crime says due to other matters in the court room, the live feed will only come up if there is a jury question or a verdict.

Clock continues to run but supposedly the jury has a question. Since the Judge is in another trial now, no telling how long this could take. Will update if/when I find out.

Jury note states they are hung and do not believe they can reach a verdict. Judge is going to read them the Allen charge (or whatever GA calls it) and send them back.

You predicted this!

*Edited: But, I'm disappointed in the jury, not you! lol I think you knew what I meant but I decided clarification was best.

If the jury remains hung, I hope we will get the count on votes for and against, mainly just curious to see which way they were leaning. Would assume more on the G side than NG, but still want to know!

Agreed, me too. Maybe I just got used to FL juries staying late into the night to agree on a verdict, but this jury has shown from the start that they were not going the extra mile to get the job done. I suspect when they took their original vote to see where they stood it was obvious there was a divide amongst jurors and as time went on and the Judge gave them clarification on several items, it became apparent there was not going to be an agreement on the verdict.

Let's hope they go back to deliberations with renewed desire to reach a verdict, but I have only seen 1 jury come back with a verdict after being read the Allen charge. All other juries remain hung as I suspect will happen here.

@JuliaCourtTV

#LATEST. Jury tells court they can’t reach a verdict in the #MelodyFarris trial. Judge gives them the “dynamite charge” telling jurors they are the best and brightest equipped people to decide this case and to keep working.

#BREAKING: The jury for #MelodyFarris tells the court they are deadlocked and believe they cannot reach a #verdict.Judge Cannon responds "no one is more qualified than you" and instructs the jurors to continue deliberations.

I had a feeling that this would happen. There is a lot to this case, much of what was offered as proof wasn't proven IMO. Too many questions that weren't answered.

She didn't want it incinerated. She wanted it to be clear accident. The payout for accidental death was huge. If there's no body 'cos she over-cooked it, so to speak, there could be a ruling that Gary simply disappeared. IMO she also wanted to set Scott up, which she mostly did. The malice....
Correct. That is the only reason I can fathom her saying that - is that she didn’t intend for him to be that badly burned because it would have pointed towards a possible accelerant which would mean it could not have been an accident. Also if she was innocent there would be absolutely no reason for this comment. For me this is the most damning evidence.

Younger sibling laid out all the family's dirty laundry during testimony...difficult at times to follow testimony as it seemed to be a lot of hearsay [which wondered how that's allowed] ... how did all of that get in?

Anyway, sad family situation, and then this!

I am really late to catching up on this trial, as you can see. :)

Additionally, supposedly the jail calls is what I need to listen in on.

Anything in the pros case is worthy of a watch IMO.
First watch Martha Jane's testimony if you haven't already. The pros is brilliant here, and MJ is just delicious.
