57. Dec 11, 2020: David Shafer (GA GOP Chair) reserved Room 216 at Georgia State Capitol in Fulton County for the Dec 14 meeting of Trump elector nominees.

Dec 11, 2020: Kenneth Chesebro (Trump lawyer) emailed Jim DeGraffenreid (Nevada GOP), "the purpose of having electoral votes sent to Congress is to provide the opportunity to debate the election irregularities in Congress and to keep alive the possibility that the votes could be flipped to Trump."

59. Dec 11, 2020: Kenneth Chesebro (Trump lawyer) emailed documents to Greg Safsten (Arizona GOP) and others. Arizona Trump elector nominees were to use the documents to cast electoral votes for Trump despite the fact Trump lost the election in Arizona.

60. Dec 11, 2020: Kenneth Chesebro (Trump lawyer) emailed documents to Michael Roman (Trump campaign official) and others from the campaign. Trump elector nominees in Nevada were to use the documents to cast electoral votes for Trump despite the fact Trump lost the election in Nevada.

61. Dec 11, 2020: Kenneth Chesbro (Trump lawyer) emailed documents to Michael Roman (Trump campaign official), unindicted co-conspirator #5, and others. Trump elector nominees in Georgia were to use the documents to cast electoral votes for Trump despite the fact Trump lost the election in Georgia.

Reminder: Elector nominees do not have the right to cast electoral votes for president. There is no such thing as "just in case we need them" voting or a dual set of votes.

Former hard core Republican here. Was a member of my university's College Republicans. Campaigned for Republican candidates all four years. I stopped being a Republican the day Trump won the 2016 nomination because the GOP stopped being my father's GOP. I like to call it "Political Hypocrisy 101". Suddenly everything Republican politicians would blast their Democratic counterparts for they defended in Trump.

In 2008, Republicans (rightfully, in my opinion), slammed the cult-like following voters had regarding Obama. What's occurred with the slavish adoration of Trump has far surpassed that.

The "First Amendment defense" on his crimes is a joke. It's been well established he knew the truth.

And, for the record, if Biden is found guilty of committing any crimes, I fully support his indictment because my loyalty remains with the republic (if we can keep it) and not a man.

I appreciate your honesty. I agree strongly that our loyalty should be to our country
And not to a man. Too bad Republican leadership is unable to get there

Trump didn't ask anyone to commit a crime. He truly believed election fraud had been committed in multiple states and members of my own family who voted for him believed it.

Georgia has charged Trump and other defendants for tweets and phone calls asking for phone numbers and for tweets that encouraged his supporters to watch election hearings being televised. Last I checked, Freedom of Speech is still a protected right.

The GA Indictment is one of the most laughably absurd documents I've ever read. The fact that Trump's indictment was published prior to the Grand Jury even voting just proves how low the DA is willing to go.

All 19 defendants are charged with this count. There are 161 acts under the count, and I'm going through them.

As we approach Dec 14 in the indictment, I double-checked my knowledge about the Electoral College voting with the National Archives:

"The meeting of the electors takes place on the first Tuesday after the second Wednesday in December after the general election. The electors meet in their respective States, where they cast their votes for President and Vice President on separate ballots. Your State’s electors’ votes are recorded on a Certificate of Vote, which is prepared at the meeting by the electors. Your State’s Certificate of Vote is sent to Congress, where the votes are counted, and to NARA, as part of the official records of the Presidential election." Source linked below.

You see in the indictment that fake electors were instructed to copy the official procedures in their actions, but the fake electors were not official. They were fake.

62. Dec 12, 2020: David Shafer (Georgia GOP Chair) contacted unindicted co-conspirator #12 and discussed #12's attendance at Dec 14 meeting of Trump elector nominees.

63. Dec 12, 2020: Michael Roman (Trump campaign official) emailed unindicted co-conspirators #4 and #7 and others with the campaign. Roman stated, "I need a tracker for the electors" and told individuals to record on a spreadsheet Trump elector nominees in Georgia, Arizona, Michigan, Nevada, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. The spreadsheet included contact info for elector nominees, if they had been contacted, confirmation they would attend Dec 14 elector meeting in their states, despite the fact Trump lost the election in those states.

64. Dec 12, 2020: Kenneth Chesebro (Trump lawyer) met with Brian Schimming (Wisconsin GOP) and discussed Dec 14 meeting of Trump elector nominees in Wisconsin. Rudy joined via phone and stated media should not be notified of Dec 14 Trump elector nominees meeting in Wisconsin.

Dec 12, 2020: Michael Roman (Trump campaign official) instructed an individual in the campaign to distribute information regarding Dec 14 meeting of Trump elector nominees in Georgia, Arizona, Michigan, Nevada, New Mexico, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin to unindicted co-conspirator #4 and others in the campaign.

66. Dec 12, 2020: Unindicted co-conspirator #4 emailed Michael Roman (Trump campaign official) and David Shafer (GA GOP) regarding Dec 14 meeting of Trump elector nominees in Fulton County, Georgia. The email listed confirmed attendees and back-ups had been secured if some nominees refused to participate. Georgia legislators had been contacted to ensure access to the Georgia State Capitol and that James Shafer has reserved Room 216.

67. Dec 12, 2020: David Shafter (GA GOP) emailed unindicated co-conspirator #4 requesting #4 "touch base" with each Trump elector nominee in Georgia before Dec 14 meeting to confirm attendance.

68. Dec 12, 2020: Unindicted co-conspirator #4 texted contact info for unindicted co-conspirator #8 and Georgia Senator Brandon Beach to Michael Roman (Trump campaign official) for him to provide to Rudy.

I mean, why not ask the same question of Pence, who seemed to want to keep Trump (and himself) in office if he had a legal way to do so, but did enough research to know he couldn't legally do what Trump had asked about pausing/interrupting/whatever the electoral vote count on 1/6. Once he knew it was illegal and he was going to decline to participate, why didn't HE "have the president arrested?"

Or anyone else in DJT's orbit who saw him do stuff they knew to be illegal. Why didn't they act? Partly because they follow him blindly. Partly because they are (possibly, presumably not everyone) equally open to cheating for their own benefit?

Maybe also because Trump built his whole empire on breaking rules and then telling people they approved, and for the same inexplicable reason, people responded positively to his strategy.

Telling people he could shoot someone on the street and not lose voters wasn't a brag about his popularity, it was an *instruction* to people, which they followed, as if hypnotized!

Trying to move quickly, but realistically I don't see it happening in March. Late summer at the very earliest, because there are going to be a million delays and requests to continue, LOA requests, etc...
