Lol...they are weighing in on whether the jury foreperson should have spoken publicly, something that's unusual but is allowed in GA. That is all.
The jury member spoke, which was legal in this situation. And the defendant's fans cry foul.

Meanwhile, defendant can't keep quiet, speaks on the cases using ugly language, and incorrectly states his first-amendment rights are curtailed. And the defendant's fans cheer.

I’ve previously mentioned the DARVO technique used by narcissists to avoid accountability. This seems like a good time to mention it again In reply to your post.

“DARVO is an acronym that stands for Deny, Attack, and Reverse Victim and Offender. It describes a manipulative tactic often used by abusers to avoid taking responsibility for their actions and shift the blame onto their victims”

The former president – seeking to distract from the indignity of the surrender by turning things into a circus – in essence had his lawyers negotiate the booking to take place during the prime viewing hours for the cable news networks.
Shocker, I know. My logic works like this - if Fani Willis was indeed a one woman political wrecking ball would she be suggesting the criminal defendants turn up at 3am or would she prefer they all be forced into a primetime, made for TV, perp walk? MOO

I wouldn’t call her a one-woman political wrecking ball but she is political imo.

I think she would prefer Trump to show up at 3:00 am because she doesn’t want him to fuel his campaign imo.

And I think it doesn’t matter what time he shows up, they will process him as quickly as possible. moo

I wonder if I get arrested if I'll be able to negotiate having my mugshot taken.

Now, now, @Elliot_Alderson, you know the solution to this dilemma.

You run for office and then you say it is political interference, an attempt by your opponents to humiliate you, and you won’t stand for it for the sake of the country!

Renders you untouchable :)

Bush-Gore was endless. It wasn’t decided by the Supreme Court until Dec. 12. At the time it seemed like the electoral system was at risk. Little did we know!
And Gore conceded, which is IMO the gracious thing to do. Presidential, even.

She's very political, as all the defendants or their attorneys are helpfully pointing out.

Judge has now set bond for about half of the Defendants. ABC News has multiple reporters covering it because it is so obviously political. And they are processing everyone as quickly as possible according to this link.

...Eastman is charged with nine counts, including two counts of conspiracy to commit forgery in the first degree. The indictment names him as among those allegedly involved in a scheme to solicit public officers to unlawfully appoint Georgia presidential electors.

https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/tim...s-overturn-georgia-election/story?id=98504895
In a statement to the Washington Examiner, Eastman's attorney said, "The indictment in Georgia versus Donald Trump and 18 others sets out activity that is political, but not criminal."...

...Ellis is facing two counts, including one count of solicitation of violation of oath by public officer. Following her indictment last week, she responded on social media, saying, "The Democrats and the Fulton County DA are criminalizing the practice of law. I am resolved to trust the Lord."...

For the electoral system to work, the peaceful, and yes, gracious transfer of power must be the norm. A losing candidate must concede when continuing to fight over votes is damaging to the country. Ego and pride must take second place to national interest. Unfortunately, those standards of behavior for candidates ceased to be the norm with Donald J. Trump. And here we are.

EMERGENCY MOTION FOR IMMEDIATE REMOVAL,OR FOR AN ORDER PROHIBITING DA FANI WILLIS FROM
ARRESTING DEFENDANT MARK MEADOWS

"Your client is no different than any other criminal defendant in this jurisdiction."

-Fani Willis

Awwwww, <modsnip> doesn't want his mugshot taken. I guess he's shy for photos.

Book 'em, Danno!

(And we can chant, "Lock Him Up!" and it would apply to more than one person!)

Eastman read a prepared statement to reporters gathered outside the jail before saying he wouldn’t take further questions, but later said that he felt the 2020 election had “absolutely” been stolen from Trump.

He does know that he has been charged with nine counts of racketeering and conspiracy, doesn't he?
He has not been charged with 'feeling that the election had been stolen'.

The remedy for 'feeling that the election had been stolen' surely is court action WITH proof ... not racketeering and conspiracy.

You would think that, having been through law school, he might understand that. And, not only is he facing charges in Georgia, he might be disbarred in California "due to his actions to push false allegations of voter fraud following the 2020 presidential election. The pro-Trump attorney now faces 11 disciplinary charges in an ongoing trial taking place in downtown Los Angeles."

So, he's totally aware. He's just "doing a trump" (imo): doubling down on what he knows is a big fat lie. (But these folks seem to think that they more they spout lies somehow makes them the statements morph into truth.)

Tired of adults acting like toddlers.

... Jenna Ellis' question is very interesting to me...
From USA Today (Trump's former lawyer was indicted in Georgia. She wants his defense funds to pay her legal fees.)
... In her response, Ellis said: "I totally agree this has become a bigger principle than just one man ... So why isn’t MAGA, Inc. funding everyone’s defense?"
Your post RSBM to get to Indicted Conspirator Jenna Ellis' comment.

Hey Ms. Jenna, you just keep using your own voice publicly to highlight the "MAGA Inc" and the enterprize it has become. MAGA Inc ... funders of attempts to overthrow Election results and to prop up those who conspired to attempt to make it happen. Sounds absoRICOlutely spot on.

I watched part of her interview earlier today. She was not happy that former guy isn't helping with legal expenses.
She also agreed to a $100k bond in this case about three hours ago.
She's young (compared to me at least and the other defendants), and she gave everything up for... what?

Rudy might be a resident of Fulton County jail by the end of the week.

That is a strange situation. Bernie Kerik is assisting him in the preliminary stages? Can't find a lawyer?

FWIW, Rudy has a youtube channel and peddles supplements or something like that. Apparently has the time (or the need) to do that. It's all bizarre. His downfall is an American tragedy, for sure. imo

LOL. “Because it is so obviously political”? News networks assign multiple reporters to cover many events that are not political. ABC News assigning multiple reporters to cover the processing of these 19 defendants is in no way saying they are doing so “because it is so obviously political.” There is no evidence that Fani Willis is pursuing political, rather than legal and evidence-based indictments…and that discussion is OT in any case. Or perhaps you were paraphrasing Trump from your link…
“The former president says his actions were not illegal and that the investigation is politically motivated.”

I don't trust the election process anymore. I was watching the votes coming in on tv and actually saw them go down for Trump and up for Biden. Why wouldn't that sow a seed of doubt ?
Exactly!! <modsnip> I no longer trust our elections,FBI,or the DOJ.

Maybe he can't find a lawyer that he can actually pay for their services?

Giuliani Begged, But Trump Refused to Cover His Crushing Legal Bills

Michael Cohen thinks that DT is crazy to not help Rudy out, that such an action may cause Rudy to flip on DT.

“He has not learned yet that [there are] three people you don’t want to throw under the bus like that: your lawyer, your doctor and your mechanic. Because one way or the other, you’re going to go down the hill and there’ll be no brakes.”
Michael Cohen says Trump’s rebuffing of Giuliani could backfire

Welcome to Websleuths @wvmoonangel. :) Perhaps you haven’t had a chance to read the explanations posted earlier about what happened on election night…why Trump was ahead at first, but the votes shifted for Biden. There is a rational explanation if you care to understand the well-known “red mirage” phenomenon that was explained well before Election Day by experts ”without hate in their hearts.” Trump, on the other hand, has undermined trust in elections since before the 2016 election, as I posted earlier.

I’m sorry to hear you no longer trust elections, the FBI or the DOJ. While certainly they are not perfect, where does your lack of trust leave you? You might ask yourself “Who benefits from my lack of trust?” Just some things to think about that are off topic for discussion on this thread, but important IMO.

Fluctuation is normal, not evidence of fraud. It depends on how and when a state counts mail-in ballots. Some happen more quickly than others. This country has a long history of confidence in election results…until Trump. He sowed seeds of doubt, even calling the 2016 election rigged before Election Day! Please read this very important article.
